This sweet girl is truly a little doll with a heart full of love and a personality made for snuggling. Velvet is the definition of a velcro pup, because she does not just want to sit next to you, she wants to be right on you. She loves sleeping in bed, soaking up affection, and being as close to her people as possible. If you are looking for a constant cuddle buddy, Velvet is ready for the job.Velvet came to us as an owner surrender when her family could no longer care for her, and she was pregnant at the time. She was an amazing mama to her five beautiful babies, and now that her mom duties are done, it is finally her turn to find a family of her own. Velvet is potty trained, very gentle with kids, not destructive, and does great with dogs of all sizes. She also rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for both cozy nights at home and outings together. Velvet weighs about 12 lbs and will need regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. She was born in January 2022 and is located in a foster home in Fort Worth, Texas.OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
