Meet Wendy: 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and 100% good girl!Her DNA test found 17 breeds — Lab, AmStaff, Pit Bull, Cocker Spaniel & Rottweiler lead the pack, with cameos from Chow Chow, Poodle, Chihuahua, and even Kenyan Street Dog (?!). She's an energetic lap dog, marathon walker, devoted copilot, and world-class cuddler. She naps ON you, not near you. Currently rocking 30 lbs with a vet-approved goal of 25 — she's on a wellness journey and could use a cheerleader. She's potty trained but the dog door baffles her so she'd love a patient human to help with a treats-and-practice refresher.Wendy was her senior owner's devoted companion until they moved into a nursing home — but our dog-and-cat crew isn't the right fit for her. She has always been an only pet and guards her treasures around other animals, so she needs a home with no other pets. She wants to be your one and only — and she'll repay you with endless love and affection.

Mercy is a one year old of unknown breeding. She was given to us by a relative that could not keep her as a puppy, and unfortunately her new living space is not working well for her and we have to find a new home for her that will suit her better.She is:Energetic and playfulFood-motivated and responds well to trainingCat, dog and child friendlyMostly house-trained (potties outside)What we are looking for in a new home for Mercy is someone who can handle her energy while also entertaining her as she gets bored easily. She loves to drink water as well and will drink too much if given the chance. Mercy's crate and two blankets will also be provided during adoption.She is not spayed currently, but an appointment is in place for that to happen.

Story
Sarabi is a poodle/terrier mix, about 1½ years old, whose story began for us in Guadalajara under circumstances no mother should have had to face. She had just given birth to five puppies when heavy storms put all six of them at serious risk of drowning. Thankfully, they were found in time and the entire little family was rescued. One of Sarabi’s puppies sadly did not survive. Three of her babies have since been adopted, and now Sarabi and her last puppy are still waiting for their people. Sarabi has already done the hard part. She kept her babies close through a frightening beginning, survived it herself, and made it to safety. Now it is finally her turn. We are fortunate to be the rescue helping Sarabi with the next chapter of her life: finding the person or family who will adore her, make her feel safe, and show her just how beautiful life can be. She is young, she has so much life ahead of her, and somewhere out there are the people who will one day wonder how they ever lived without her. We don’t find homes. We find their people. And we’re looking for Sarabi’s.
