Story
Looking for an affectionate boy who will offer hugs? You've found your match with Finn. He approaches all people with interest and love, offering hugs and kisses to everyone and anyone who will accept them. He adores toys including chewing bones, squeaky balls for fetch, and can extract a squeaker from a plushy in record time. He is a go with the flow kind of dog, assimilating to the days plans with ease. Whether it’s a day for a hike or a day to vegetate on the couch, he is happy just as long as he is with his human(s). Finn is trained to sit, stay, come, lay down, and paw. He received training in a formalized setting at a young age. He is very receptive to ongoing training and learning, as he loves to follow commands when prompted to. He is crate trained, house trainined, and very good on leash. He is from a multi-pet household, however we will only be adopting to a single pet household due to history of resource guarding. Also to note, he has a history of medication use for anxiety.

Welcome to Carmen to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1.5- to 2-year-old Poodle. She is very sweet and has the delicate frame of a poodle. She is affectionate and likes attention and being held. She is not a shedding dog. She came in and it was hard to determine her breed. We have some experienced groomer volunteers that groomed her and now we know. She is an adorable poodle. Her baby is Jelly Bean. She weighs about 13 pounds. She has nice longer legs and would be a nice walking companion. She is active but not over the top. A moderately active family with a condo sized yard would be sufficient. She is smart and will make some lucky family a great companion. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older due to her trusting nature and delicate frame. She is not a shedder and will make a good pet for a family who is allergic or who don’t like to clean up dog hair. She is good with other dogs and good in a crate. She may not have many commands under her belt at the moment but she is eager to please and smart. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Meet Rolo! This adorable, curly haired little fella is so sweet and fun. He is a small poodle mix, and will likely be less than 15-20lb full grown. He is currently 8 weeks old and ready to find his forever home! He is still a young pup and will need someone to help him continue to grow into a happy and healthy adult dog. Rolo has received his first round of puppy vaccines, is microchipped, and will be neutered as part of his adoption agreement when he is 6-12 months old (this is not optional). His adoption fee is $525. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
