Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 4 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.    Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He catches on to new commands quickly. Ramen would do best in an adult only household, as it takes him time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Animal Profile: Zsa Zsa is an approximately 5 year old, 10 lb female Miniature Poodle mix that joined us from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter in California on 7/13. We will share more about Zsa Zsa as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Zsa Zsa is a spunky little lady with a BIG personality! Don't let her small size fool you; this diva is ready to take the world by storm. She might have started off with a rough beginning showing up at the shelter emaciated and with a broken jaw but this girl has made a total comeback and is living her best life! Zsa Zsa is the kind of dog who thinks everyone should be her friend, and if you make eye contact, you’ve got a friend for life. She’s playful, friendly, and loves being the center of attention. Whether you’re out on a walk or chilling at home, she’s right there, eager to join in on all the fun. Her dream day? A nice long walk, some office snuggles, and a good old-fashioned cuddle session at the end of the day. This little diva has a coat that needs a bit of TLC, regular grooming is a must to keep her looking fabulous. Zsa Zsa would thrive in a single-family home where someone is around often to give her all the love and attention she deserves.
