Story
Meet Delilah! She is a very smart 3 year old that is very loyal to her humans. She is completely friendly with strangers, gives lots of kisses, and adores anybody who will throw her ball. Fetch is her favorite thing ever, she drops the ball right at your feet when she wants it to be thrown, and lays down and waits. She also knows sit and is learning new tricks! She loves water so it would be great if she could find a pool or head to the beach. She’s a larger dog (around 90lbs) so we would recommend older kids only. She loves being around her humans and smelling all the new smells. She’s great in the car and is a good beach/hiking companion. Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Blitzen is 3 years old and 70 lbs. Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix. Playful and loving. Walks on a leash. Loves getting petted. Friendly with other dogs. Knows sit. Good with kids.  He and brother Prancer were given up because they were jumping the fence. *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
Milo is an amazing dog. He truly is. He was adopted by me a year and a half ago from the Orange County Animal Shelter. They had said he was found underneath a fence likely from running away. He had a gash in his back which took fur and skin off and his patch had just grown back. When alone in my apartment he was a real couch potato. He loves to sleep and snore as well as his octopus toy and treat maze. He loves to sleep next to you or in his bed. He loves his kennel and goes on command. He learns very quickly with patience and his dried beef liver treats. I recently had to move home to my parents. They have another dog and Milo just hasn’t adjusted well. Since moving back home he has become anxious which he is now medicated for which helps a little bit. Milo is resource protective, however, and requires to be the only dog. He is amazing with people once he gets to know you. He won’t attack anyone but he is weary of new people but curious. He is an amazing dog and a great best friend.

Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Molly! She is a two-year-old Lab/Corgi mix with the cutest unique look. Not only is she a petite bundle of cuteness, she’s also a very sweet girl who just wants cuddles and affection from her person. She was saved from the San Bernardino shelter where she and her sister waited for over two months, seeing all their puppies adopted as they were left behind. While there, they were said to be good girls and were kenneled with multiple different dogs. Molly is still getting adjusted to her foster home, but she’s already showing her endearing personality. She’ll lay right next to you to relax and take a nap. And she’ll ask for touches and kisses. She loves rolling around in the grass, going for walks, and running and playing with her sister. She does have to be careful of sunburn if outside too long. She has low to medium energy, so while she likes having some activity, she can easily relax and be a couch potato, too. If you’re looking for someone to be your best friend and loving companion, Molly’s your girl! She’ll follow you around like your own personal doggy shadow. If you open your heart and home to her, she will give you so much love in return. Molly is spayed, current on all vaccines, potty trained and does well on leash. This special girl is ready for her furever home, and complete your family. If Molly sounds like a good match, get your application in today! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.
