Mo is a fluffy sweetheart who’s struggling with city life after his family moved from the country to a busy apartment. All the noise and activity just isn’t his style, and he’d love to find a calmer home where he can relax and be close to his people. Mo is a big-time cuddler who loves adults and does well with older, sturdy kids. He’s house trained, knows his basic commands (sit, stay, come, lie down), and is happiest just hanging out with his humans. He may do best as an only dog, and because he has a bit of a prey drive he’s looking for a home without cats or small dogs. Mo can get anxious when left alone and has been taking Prozac to help with the stress of city life, but a quieter environment may make a big difference for him. Also, don’t leave him alone in a fenced yard — he’s been known to hop a fence to come looking for you! Think you might be the peaceful home this loyal boy needs? Training: Housetrained,  knows basic commands, sit, stay, come, lie down Vetting: Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Kobe loves to go for walks and to the park and is always up for ball throwing as well as a trip to cool off in a lake, river or beach . Kobe needs a forever home with someone that has time to spend with him . He stays at home by himself all day and is very lonely . He’s a great dog and needs a place to run . Unfortunately his current situation isn’t the best life for Kobe . Please help me find a home for Kobe .. also he never has accidents on the home .

Meet Bruce — Our Loving 6-Year-Old Pup Who Needs a New Home It breaks our hearts to rehome our sweet boy, Bruce, but my medically complex, highly allergic mom is moving in, and we’ve been trying to find the right home for months. I’m also physically disabled & just found out I’m pregnant. About Bruce: 6 years old, about 80 lbs. Medium energy — loves walks and fetch but also enjoys long naps. Crate trained, house trained, and great with kids (ages 6–19) Lives peacefully with cats and has previously lived with another dog who sadly passed away. Loyal, affectionate, and playful (but also chill) 💚 What He Loves: Playing fetch in the yard/house, chewing his bones, cuddling next to you on the couch, and relaxing in his own bed when it’s time to wind down. He goes on two ¾-mile walks daily al but would also do well with a fenced yard or space to run. Comes With: Large crate, beds, food, food container, and bowl — everything he needs to settle right in!
