Don't let his age fool you — this distinguished gentleman has the heart of an explorer and the spirit of a loyal companion. His favorite pastimes? Car rides, leisurely walks, human attention, and… relocating his dog food bowl around the house. (Yes, it’s his version of interior design.) Whether he's trotting alongside you on a trail or cozying up for some head scratches, Root Beer knows how to make the most of every moment — and he wants to share them all with you.    ** Home for the Holidays adoption special.  Half price adoption fee through December 31st!     Gunnie is a 13-year-old female Lab-Weimaraner mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. This sweet, silver-coated lady is in her golden years, but don’t let her age fool you — she still perks up for her favorite things: leisurely walks, windows-down car rides, tasty treats, and just about any kind of affection you’re offering. At around 75 lbs, Gunnie is the perfect size for snuggling beside you on the couch or accompanying you on a short stroll through the neighborhood. She's friendly with humans of all kinds and would thrive in a calm home where she can soak up love and enjoy her well-earned retirement. Gunnie is fully vetted, spayed, and house-trained. She does well with other mellow dogs and would be happy as either a solo companion or with her brother Root Beer.       **Home for the Holidays adoption special.  Half price adoption fee through December 31st Meet Toffee Chip   Are you looking for a young dog—or older puppy—that’s already trained and ready to be your loyal sidekick? Toffee Chip may be your guy!   Toffee Chip is a 1.5-year-old Lab mix, weighing in at 51 lbs, who has already mastered many of the essentials. He’s neutered, house-trained, and sleeps in his crate through the night, though he doesn’t need crating because he’s so well-behaved. He’s had professional training, knows basic commands, and is eager to please.   Sweet, loving, and full of personality, Toffee Chip is what we call a Velcro dog—he adores his people and wants to be near them as much as possible. He loves running errands with you, playing catch, chewing toys, and just hanging out. He’s good on a leash—and could be your walking or even running companion.   He does well with other dogs and enjoys playtime, but he's not suited for homes with cats (he finds them a little too exciting!). He’s a bit shy with new people at first and may take a few moments to warm up, but once he does, his affectionate and loyal side shines.
