Mo is a fluffy sweetheart who’s struggling with city life after his family moved from the country to a busy apartment. All the noise and activity just isn’t his style, and he’d love to find a calmer home where he can relax and be close to his people. Mo is a big-time cuddler who loves adults and does well with older, sturdy kids. He’s house trained, knows his basic commands (sit, stay, come, lie down), and is happiest just hanging out with his humans. He may do best as an only dog, and because he has a bit of a prey drive he’s looking for a home without cats or small dogs. Mo can get anxious when left alone and has been taking Prozac to help with the stress of city life, but a quieter environment may make a big difference for him. Also, don’t leave him alone in a fenced yard — he’s been known to hop a fence to come looking for you! Think you might be the peaceful home this loyal boy needs? Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. This sweet, silver-coated lady is in her golden years, but don’t let her age fool you — she still perks up for her favorite things: leisurely walks, windows-down car rides, tasty treats, and just about any kind of affection you’re offering. At around 75 lbs, Gunnie is the perfect size for snuggling beside you on the couch or accompanying you on a short stroll through the neighborhood. She's friendly with humans of all kinds and would thrive in a calm home where she can soak up love and enjoy her well-earned retirement. Gunnie is fully vetted, spayed, and house-trained. She does well with other mellow dogs and would be happy as either a solo companion or with her brother Root Beer. Max was very nice and friendly to anyone. Little down energy with his age. Don’t need too much work a day. Or long walk once a week. Like to eat, but never jump on table or steal from bags. Only begging for treats when you were eating. He was with family since 8 weeks, I never thought I would give up him. Since my parents needs to be talking care of oversea, I would like to rehome him to a nice family. He was very nice to other dogs, especially for same size dogs.
