Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Hi, my name is Jesus and I am from Kentucky! From his foster: He is a huge ball of fluff with a very sweet and energetic disposition. He is such a good boy who has adapted very well to potty training outdoors. When the door opens, he will wait and go outside and be told “go potty” and he does his business. He takes delight in the snow and comes back with a snow beard! He also is trained on puppy pee pads. He loves to take naps in his soft dog bed or along the sofa on the floor. He is crated at night and is doing very well. He is not shy with cats and doesn’t bother them. He loves to play and he loves his toys. He often can be found playing with his brother and is a great napper throughout the day. He adores people. He is a very smart puppy and loves to earn treats!
