Story
We took goose in from some friends, he was an outside dog, but with the weather… We’ve had him for about a month getting his potty training up to speed and making sure he will be a good dog. He is the sweetest boy ever, and very outgoing! Shy is definitely not an adjective I’d place on goosey. He’s very cuddly and affectionate. He loves his bones and his food lol. He is very good with kids, and other pets alike. He knows some basic commands as well! We have 2 other dogs that are our permanent pets, but with my background in dog training and breeding, we agreed to foster him until he’s ready for adoption. I can’t say for sure how old he is, the vet and myself best guess is between 2-3 years old. He’s 55 lbs and healthy! We just had him at the vet this week for his shots and general checkup. Goose is a very anxious boy, so we got him a prescription for fluoxetine, as well as calming supplements with his food. It just helps him be more relaxed and keep from bouncing off the walls.

Story
Hi, my name is Emmy Lou and I am from Arkansas. From her foster: If you’re looking for a puppy who checks every box, meet Emmy Lou. She’s spunky, smart, friendly, and full of happy energy. Emmy Lou is already signaling to go outside, knows sit and lay down, and settles quietly in her crate. She sleeps through the night, loves to burrow under blankets, and is a world-class snuggler. She plays great with our two large dogs and charms absolutely everyone she meets. Emmy Lou isn’t just a good puppy — she’s the kind that steals your heart and never gives it back.

Story
Hi, my name is Patsy and I am from Arkansas. From her foster: She is playful, gentle and affectionate sweet girl. Always keeping her eye on you, she’ll follow you everywhere. Loves cuddling and belly rubs. She’s smart and curious, learning new things everyday. She’s got beautiful eyes and a wrinkly face you’ll fall in love with. From the Vet: During a recent examination our veterinarian heard a quiet, mild heart murmur. Future adopters should plan to continue to monitor this with their primary DVM as Patsy ages.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Looking for a spunky +1 for your next party? Fiesta is your girl! Fiesta is a happy, playful, fun-loving pup who loves to play, go for walks, cuddle, and be with her humans. She would do best with an active family who will include her in their adventures. Fiesta has a zest for life and a love for exploring the world with her people. She’s working on her leash manners—she’ll pull at first but settles in as you go. She’s also practicing her basic commands like sit, down, off, and no. Fiesta may jump up when she’s excited or happy, but she’s actively working on breaking that habit. Fiesta is potty trained with regular potty-break reminders when she’s out of her kennel, and she always keeps her kennel clean. She can be a bit vocal when first kenneled but quiets down after letting you know she’s not thrilled that playtime is over. She’s got a touch of sass, too—she’ll “talk back” if she’s told no or doesn’t get her way. Fiesta would be a wonderful addition to any family. With patience, love, and consistency, she will truly shine. Fiesta is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Peach, and I’m starting to settle in after spending a week with my foster family. I’m still a bit nervous when I meet new people—especially men—so I need some time to feel comfortable and safe with new faces. I might bark or growl at first, but I haven’t shown any aggression. I don’t like being left alone, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal for me. I’m not a fan of the crate and tend to panic a bit when closed in. I’ve also been known to do a little “counter surfing” and believe that finders are keepers, so for everyone’s sake, it’s best to keep tempting things out of reach! I go for three to four walks every day to practice my leash manners and build my confidence around new people. That’s helped a lot—and I haven’t had any potty issues in the house! I really enjoy the company of the resident dog here. He’s teaching me to trust people, sit for treats, walk nicely on a leash, and be part of a family. We play together, which helps burn off my bursts of puppy energy—even though I’m almost three years old! When he’s not in the mood to play, I can happily entertain myself with a toy. Tennis balls are the best! At night, my favorite place to sleep is near my humans—definitely in the same room, but ideally right next to you in bed. Once I feel safe and snuggled in, I’ll curl up close and snore softly beside you. Peach was found as a stray. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dottie! She’s an almost 10-month-old Lab/Retriever mix bursting with love and joy. Dottie adores people—especially her people. She loves spending time outdoors, sniffing all the scents, collecting sticks, and going for walks. She does well on a leash but can get a little distracted by all the exciting new smells. Dottie enjoys chewing on bones, hard toys, and anything that squeaks. If she finds a piece of cardboard, she’ll happily shred it for fun. After playtime, she loves nothing more than curling up with a soft blanket (and you!) for some cozy snuggles. She needs very slow, proper intros to other dogs and takes some time to get comfortable with them. After slow intros, she plays well. Dottie would do best in a cat-free home as she is a little too interested in them. Dottie is both kennel-trained and potty-trained—a sweet, loving pup ready to find her forever family! Dottie is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
