Aspen was found on 3/1/2026 at the Santa Clara Community Park in Eugene. She came into the not yet spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time.The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information!Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. Hello, I`m Remington! I`m about 7.5 years old and weigh 100 pounds. I have a medical release that staff can discuss with you when you meet me.A portion of my adoption price has been sponsored by a kind donor! My new adoption price is $125.** I still need to be spayed/neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I have lived successfully with other dogs in the past! Please bring any dogs in the home to meet me.Cats? I have lived with cats before! A slow introduction would help set us up for success.Kids? I have lived with kids of all ages! I am a little older, so respectful kids are a must.Anything else you`d like us to know, Remington? I`m a little shy but would do well in a quiet home with a loving family.I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person.
