Story
Looking for a small dog with big emotions and a PhD in Overthinking? Meet this 4 year old,10 lb Chihuahua who is UTD on shots, microchipped, and neutered. He is a sentient tremor wrapped in fur who is 90% nerves and 10% audacity. He wakes up every day shocked that the world still exists and is approaching everything with extreme caution and side eye. He is not a beginner dog. He is a graduate level emotional support project. Progress will be slow, awkward, and occasionally dramatic but it will happen, especially if you come bearing his three sacred offerings: peanut butter, dehydrated chicken, and Churus. These treats temporarily deactivate his fear response and unlock his inner cat dog goblin. He requires another playful, friendly dog in the home to act as his emotional support coworker and living proof that couches, humans, and life in general are not lethal. (This is non negotiable.) He is cat friendly.  He’s seeking a quiet, adult only home (no kids). Women are his preferred demographic, but a calm, patient, dog savvy man may be allowed after a background check, a waiting period, and approximately 70 snack bribes. This Chihuahua will not immediately love you. He will not appreciate your enthusiasm. He will judge you silently from across the room. But if you enjoy earning trust the hard way, celebrating wins like “stood near me without panicking,” and being chosen by a dog who takes loyalty very seriously, congratulations you may be worthy. Warning: once bonded, he will follow you everywhere and police your snack consumption with authority. If you are ready to share patience, love and snacks woth Georgie, please fill out a Statement of Interest for him. ##2533435##

Story
Meet sweet Milo — an 11-month-old, 9-pound bundle of love, adventure, and puppy joy! Milo is everything you could want in a young pup: playful, curious, affectionate, and always ready to be part of the fun. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, tossing his toys in the air, or happily chewing on a bully stick, Milo brings happiness wherever he goes. Milo loves adventures and absolutely adores his people. He’s potty trained, rides wonderfully in the car, and even handled his bath and nail trim like a champ at the groomer. He plays beautifully with other dogs and has also spent time with a cat, where he showed a gentle and playful nature. This little guy could thrive as either an only dog or alongside another playful pup to become his new best friend. His ideal home would include a fenced yard where he can safely run, explore, and enjoy his puppy energy. Milo was born with a neurological condition and was sadly surrendered to a local shelter because of it. The good news is that he is currently doing well on a very affordable medication, and research gives hope that his condition may fully resolve within the next few months. Through it all, Milo has remained nothing but loving, trusting, and full of life. He truly doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Milo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Because he’s still a young pup eager to learn, his future family will need to enroll him in puppy classes prior to adoption. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick with a heart as big as his personality, Milo may be your perfect match. Please visit our website and fill out a statement of interest to meet this special boy! ##2720366##

Story
Meet Bella — a 5-month-old sweet, friendly, and absolutely lovable puppy who is ready to find her forever home. Bella is the kind of puppy who instantly makes a home feel warmer. She has a gentle, happy personality and a friendly nature that shines through the moment you meet her. She loves people, loves attention, and most of all, loves being included in whatever her family is doing. Currently in a foster home with both kids and other dogs, Bella has shown just how wonderful she is in a busy family environment. She gets along beautifully with everyone she meets and has proven to be calm, social, and easy to have around. With children, she is patient, affectionate, and gentle. She enjoys being part of their world, whether that’s hanging out nearby, joining in on play, or simply relaxing in the same space. She fits into a busy home with ease and has a naturally kind spirit that makes her very trustworthy and loving around kids. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/UMp6Hm9AtTo?si=24fd_qu7shs2nC2H With other dogs, Bella is equally wonderful. She enjoys their company, plays nicely, and seems to really enjoy being part of a group. She is social and well-mannered with other pups, making her a great candidate for a home with existing dogs or someone looking to add a second companion. She has a balanced energy that allows her to play and have fun, but also settle in calmly when it’s time to relax. Bella is also a very smart puppy who is learning new skills in her foster home. She is attentive and eager to please, and she responds well to guidance. She is the kind of dog who wants to understand what is being asked of her and is motivated by praise, connection, and routine. With continued support, she is going to grow into an incredibly well-rounded and well-behaved adult dog. One of Bella’s favorite things in the world is being outside. She loves fresh air, exploring her surroundings, and taking in all the sights and smells that come with outdoor time. Whether it’s a walk, a yard to roam in, or just sitting outside with her people, Bella is happiest when she gets to enjoy the world around her. She also has a playful side that makes her so much fun to be around. Bella enjoys toys, interaction, and any opportunity to engage with her people or dog friends. She brings a light, joyful energy into the home and knows how to make everyday moments feel a little more fun. At the same time, Bella has a soft and affectionate side that makes her just as happy to slow down and relax. After playtime or exploring, she enjoys being close to her people, soaking up affection, and simply being part of the family. She has a calm, loving presence that makes her easy to bond with and easy to love. Bella is truly a special puppy — friendly, smart, playful, gentle, and full of heart. She adapts beautifully to family life and seems to thrive when she is surrounded by love and companionship. She is ready for a forever home where she can continue to grow, learn, and share all the love she has to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and loving companion who fits right into family life, Bella may be the perfect match. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69f3850b4a666c445e032516 Questions?
