Meet Greg – A Brave Heart with a Gentle Soul Greg has had a rough start in life, but you’d never guess it from his playful spirit and wagging tail. Since arriving at his foster home, he’s been learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. With patience, love, and guidance from his foster mom and her dogs, Greg is growing braver every day. He’s mostly housebroken, though he still uses a pee pad on occasion. Greg is currently working on getting comfortable with a leash, so he’ll need a securely fenced yard and a patient adopter willing to help him continue building confidence at his own pace. Greg adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy. He loves to chase, wrestle, and share toys with his four-legged friends. Speaking of toys, Greg is a big fan – especially ones that hide treats and challenge his clever nose. Though he’s not a lap dog, Greg shows affection in sweet, unique ways. He loves being scratched behind the ears and will gently grab your hand if you stop too soon. At bedtime, he turns into a cuddle bug, happily snuggling in close for the night. Sapphire is a 2 year old, almost 10 lb Chihuahua mix,possibly mixed with Boston Terrier.  She is up to date on shots,microchiped and spayed. She is on no medication.  Sapphire is a girl who takes a bit to warm up to her surroundings and feel safe. Once there she is a total goof ball. She loves to run and explore her inside and outside surroundings.  She loves hard on her person and her perfect life would be to be with her person or persons all the time.  Sapphire would do well with a family who likes walks or hikes. She is not completely house trained but very close. She likes other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. She is active and needs a fenced yard and daily outdoor activities to run around and let her energy out.  She would love to have a play mate to pal around with and learn from. Meet Paco — the pint-sized adventurer with the floppiest ears, a heart full of love, and the sweetest little smile you’ve ever seen! 🌞 This tiny chihuahua-terrier mix (your guess is as good as ours — rescue magic at its finest!) is about 2 years young and ready to find his forever person. He’s got this perfect tan-red coat that practically glows in the sunshine, and eyes so big and brown they could melt a popsicle in January. Paco may be small, but his personality has layers like a fancy little dog burrito — soft, spicy, and a little shy at first taste. He’s the kind of boy who takes his time to trust new people, but once he does? He’s your best buddy, loyal nap partner, and possibly your personal shadow. He’s incredibly sweet with his foster parents and just needs someone patient enough to let him open up on his own timeline. Paco would do best with a low to medium-energy dog friend who will let him come around naturally — no pushy pups, please! When it comes to cats, Paco is what we’d call “cat curious but cautious.” He met a calm kitty named Biggie and did great — a little nervous, but respectful and tolerant. A chill, dog-savvy cat who doesn’t mind a nervous little dog would be perfectly fine for him. As for kids, Paco hasn’t been officially kid-tested yet, but given how shy he can be, he’d probably prefer a calm, adult home or one with older, dog-savvy teens who understand that good things (and tail wags) take time. This little man is not cut out for apartment living — he’s more of a “quiet home with a yard” type of guy. New noises, fast movements, and big groups of people can overwhelm him.
