Blu, formerly Grumpy, was part of the Snow White litter of chi/terrier/poodle pups. Light brown, and with a streak of blue in his right eye.  He is now 3 yrs and 23 lbs. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. Sweetness was rescued from the desert with her probable littermate in December of 2020.  It took tremendous repeated efforts to entice these girls into rescue crates - they were very frightened and untrusting. Back in September, her sister, Phoenix, was been adopted! Sweetness is still looking for her home. Canelo is a cute little guy, 1 and a half years old (born 8-7-22). His normal weight is 9 lbs, but he's a bit chubby right now at 11 lbs. One of our smallest dogs. Brown with some black. He is friendly to people and loves to be held! He is very well behaved, except he can get upset when left alone. He is used to living with all sizes of dogs. Good with cats and even turtles! He will be shy at first in a new home but he will warm up with love and attention. Loves playing with puppies. Bandit is @3 years old and 13 lbs. House and leash trained, good with kids and dogs. His finders said he's a cuddler who loves playing fetch; but that he was also a digger and escape artist. Very friendly boy who gets attached quickly. He may have separation anxiety, at least until he gets settled in the home. Peter Brady is the last remaining of the 6 Brady siblings. @14-15 lbs. 1 year old. Red and white. He can be a little shy at first, but he likes people and is ok with being picked up. Treats and playtime are the way to his heart! Peter is a good natured and well behaved little guy. He will likely need to leashtraining. He's done extremely well in our house and mingles well with the other dogs in the big front yard. He and his siblings came to us from our Tijuana rescue partner. The others, now adopted, were Greg, Marcia, Jan, Bobby, and Cindy. He is neutered and has his shots- he is ready for his new home!
