Staying true to his name, Loverboy is an 8-month-old male Chihuahua mix who has mastered the art of loving big in a tiny body. The perfect pocket-sized companion, this little guy packs a whole lot of heart into every cuddle, tail wag, and toy chase. Loverboy adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs—especially those his size. Larger dogs can make him a bit nervous at first, so slow introductions help him feel safe and confident. Once he knows you’re a friend (and let’s be honest… food helps 💕), he’ll warm up quickly and may even crawl right into your lap to seal the deal. This sweetheart loves to play, particularly when toys are involved—bonus points if they’re destined for a good de-stuffing! He plays well with dogs he’s familiar with and coexists nicely with other dogs, cats, and kids. Overall, Loverboy is just that: an all-around sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be close to those he loves. Because food is precious to him right now, Loverboy can be protective of his meals. Feeding him separately from other pets easily solves this and keeps everyone happy. Potty training and crate training are still works in progress, but he’s learning and improving every day with consistency and patience. Loverboy would thrive in any home ready to open their heart to the gentlest, loviest little companion. Sebastian is an 8-month-old male Chihuahua mix with a tiny body, big ol’ ears, and a whole lot of personality packed into his little frame. For starters—this guy is SO excitable! Once he trusts you, he’s all in. He absolutely loves being included in whatever you’re doing and will happily tag along with a big, happy smile on his face. He’s a true Velcro dog, always wanting to be close. His little tail practically never stops wagging—it just goes faster the happier he gets. Sebastian thrives on love and attention and will gladly snuggle up in your lap, your arms, or basically anywhere he can squeeze himself. If you’re looking for a constant cuddle buddy, he’s your guy. Sebastian enjoys playing with dogs similar to his size. He does have a dash of what we lovingly call “little-dog syndrome,” meaning he sometimes believes he’s far more intimidating than he actually is, especially around much larger dogs—so a home without big dogs would be best. He’s tolerant of cats and does well with kids, making him a great fit for many families. Potty training and crate training aren’t quite perfect yet, but he’s making steady progress. He’s also SUPER food-motivated, which will make continued training much easier (and fun!). Sebastian would do wonderfully in almost any home looking for a happy little ball of love to call their own. Bring him home, and you’ll gain a devoted, joyful companion for life.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Bo, but you can call me Mr. Wonderful or something else but don't call me late for dinner. Are you ready to meet me? I'm a wonderful dog that likes going outside and for walks. I need a fenced in yard because I like to chase things like the bunny that is usually in my neighbor's yard.  I don't think I would like living with rambunctious kids, but adults with a quiet home would suit me well. If you want to sit back and watch TV, I'm right there sitting next to you. I like treats and I’ve loved going to doggie daycare to make new friends. I’ve also worked with the trainer to learn some new skills, I’m happy to do anything for a treat! Bo's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives.  If you would like to meet Bo, please submit an adoption application through our website Adopthope.org.  Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept animals as indoor pets only, altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.
