Bella is coming out of her shell more and more each day! She is a senior girl that enjoys her naps and her food! Don't be late with dinner she says! She is ok with other animals but doesn't play with them or cuddle. Just coexist with them. She is almost toothless and her little tongue hangs out all the time. She enjoys outside and gets around well for her age but her legs do have a special walk to them. She is looking for her retirement home that she can just be herself. She isn't too much into cuddling with people but enjoys a pet here and there and then off to another nap. She also watches TV lol. Located in Sturgis mi.

Mohawk Mabelle came to us from an owner who relinquished her by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & warms up to her people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 02/14/18 and she currently weighs 9.6#. She needs a quiet home and will not be good with children. She is fine with cats. Update - in foster, house trained, walks on a leash, sits & shakes! She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm and tick born illness negative and had a complete dental. Her adoption donation is $200 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Count Dracula (Drac) is a senior Chihuahua. And with his years come wisdom. He is a smart little fella who knows how to "sit pretty" for a treat and walks really well on a leash. He is friendly and loves to cuddle. So if you are looking for a small lap dog, definitely come and meet Drac. He is okay with other dogs with proper introductions, but he is unlikely to be a good option if you are looking for a playmate for another dog. He is more a hang out, chill dude who loves to cuddle, but also likes his space. He prefers to sleep on his own at night. His favorite pampering is to be brushed. He was found as a stray and had some hair matting that we have gotten under control. He is getting regular baths and loving his spa time. He does have Chi traits and is vocal and responds to other dogs walking by, but he can be easily redirected. Come and meet our sweet Drac and he can be the star of your Halloween trick or treating.  ##2857593##

Salem is the sweetest boy ever! He is friendly, does a little play, does a little snuggle and then likes to have some quiet kennel time. He is doing very well in his foster home. He does very well interacting with his 11 year old foster kid. So, it's likely he will be fine in a house with kids, but we don't know about younger kids. He also does well with 2 foster doggy siblings, but does want his space to be respected. He is not a high energy play play play kinda guy. He isn't a fan of the in your face, I want to meet you greeting. So, he would do best in a house as a solo pup or with other pups who are pretty chill and will respect his space. He is potty trained. He can take a bit to get use to a new place, but he eventually comes around. And this is not unusual for dogs adjusting to a foster home or a shelter. Once he got comfortable though he was showing off his zoomies and they are the cutest thing you have ever seen. He is a tiny little pup weighing in at just under 9lbs. He is very easy to handle on leash and can be picked up very easily as well. He is pretty quiet for the most part. He loves back and ear scratches. He also prefers his kennel over sleeping in the bed with his humans (in general his kennel is his happy place and he absolutely lives for his bed). If you are looking for a small pup to join your family, Salem might be the one for you.  ##2857580##
