Waylon is 7 Pounds of Sass, Snuggles & Personality. This 1-year-old Chihuahua mix is tiny—but don’t tell him that. He’s playful, affectionate, and deeply committed to being as close to his humans as physically possible. Loves kids, loves to snuggle, and will happily burrow under the covers. Just beware of sleepy toe nibbles. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but only his kind of dogs: *Small (his size or close to it). *Submissive, easygoing personalities ONLY. *Bigger or confident dogs = not a match He can come in hot, so slow intros are a must. He does great on a routine (won’t bark to go out), and accidents are rare if you stay consistent. Clothes are fine for warmth, but not his favorite. Best fit: someone wanting a cuddly, playful little shadow—either solo or with the right small, gentle dog. Tiny body. Big opinions. Even bigger heart. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations.  His local adoption fee is $300 for adoptions within the Memphis, TN tristate area.   Waylon’s out of state/not local to Memphis, TN tristate area adoption fee is $600 and includes the transport to states like PA, CT, NJ, MD, & VA. Gnocci (pronounced NOKI) is a precious senior male long haired chihuahua mix. He weighs 6.6 lbs. Gnocci was found as a stray. He has been checked out by our vet but we are awaiting an appointment where he can get both a dental and neuter. He is heartworm negative. Gnocci requires a fenced yard, he likes to wander and take off when outside. This is a very nice little dog who would love a warm responsible home. Halfpint is a six month old 6 lb female chihuahua and sister of Cocoa. This one is so much more timid and will need a good long period of time to acclimate. Currently the closest she will come to me is to take some food from my hand but she is not tolerating being petted or picked up yet. She also still needs to be spayed. Halfpint’s best adopter is someone who has experience with taking on a pet who has never been socialized beyond her original environment. Meet Axel! Gets along with dogs. He lived with a Doberman, two cats, and a chicken (all indoor pets). Axel is fully vetted, including being neutered. Axel has been left alone. His mom is hospitalized and when she gets out, she won’t be able to care for him. He suffered a spinal injury (spine was bruised) when a big dog accidently stepped on him. He has healed now but he has a little limp. He is on a joint supplement daily. His spine is still healing and we expect the limp to heal. He is living in a foster home now but he is searching for his forever home. Axel’s adopter will have to be willing to keep him on his joint supplement.
