Bella is a 10-year-old Chihuahua looking for a loving home. She is part of a bonded pair with another Chihuahua, Beatrice, and they would do best being rehomed together. Bella will need some dental care, is due for updated vaccinations, and recently appears to have hearing loss. Her most recent vaccines were administered in November 2024. She has been around children most of her life but prefers not to be bothered by them. She is spayed. Due to job changes that now require frequent travel, I am seeking a home where Bella can receive the time, consistency, and care she deserves.

Don’t let her age fool you, this gal has a lot of fun and sparkle in her! On a typical day, she likes to spend equal time taking walks, playing, napping under a pile of blankets and lots of couch cuddling. (She’s a bonafide lap dog!) She’s crate trained and ready for action, loves car rides, too! Katie hasn’t been around young children that we know of but does well with older kids and adults once she gets to know them. She gets along beautifully with her dog housemate and his canine friends as well. On outings she’s leash reactive but treats magically diffuse situations. Ok with cats.

I grew up in a very crowded home with lots of other dogs&#44 so I didnt get the chance to learn much about the world or make many human friends. Because of that&#44 I can be a little shy at first. But please dont let that fool you-Im incredibly sweet&#44 and every day I find myself opening up a little more.<br/><br/>Here at the shelter&#44 Ive made some wonderful human friends and discovered one of my favorite things in the whole world: a warm lap. Sitting close to someone I trust and just watching life go by makes me feel safe and happy. Im also proud to say Im very good on a leash and enjoy calm&#44 peaceful walks.<br/><br/>Im looking for a quiet&#44 patient home where I can continue to build my confidence and truly bloom.
