Don’t let her age fool you, this gal has a lot of fun and sparkle in her! On a typical day, she likes to spend equal time taking walks, playing, napping under a pile of blankets and lots of couch cuddling. (She’s a bonafide lap dog!) She’s crate trained and ready for action, loves car rides, too! Katie hasn’t been around young children that we know of but does well with older kids and adults once she gets to know them. She gets along beautifully with her dog housemate and his canine friends as well. On outings she’s leash reactive but treats magically diffuse situations. Ok with cats.

Cricket is a tiny little lovebug who wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap, melt into your arms, and be held like the baby she is at heart. She adores showing off her belly, and one of her cutest talents is standing up on her back legs to ask for attention. Her favorite hobbies include napping in a big warm bed and eating her favorite snacks. She gets along wonderfully with the cats and small dog in her foster home. She is a very gentle girl. Cricket didn’t always have it easy. Prior to being rescued, she spent her whole life living outside in a shed, so the cozy indoor life is still very new to her. She can be shy around new people but once she warms up and forms a bond, she can never give enough love. She’s still working on house training, so her adopters will need to continue this. She’s also nervous of leashes because she’d never worn one before! Despite these big changes, she’s absolutely loving all of the new attention, warmth and comforts of indoor life. She’s very brave and we are so proud of her!
