Story
Meet 3 year old, 9.5lb, Suzy Q – the happiest little busy bee you’ll ever meet!   Suzy Q is looking for her forever family after being rescued from a neglectful situation in Rochester, where she was kept crated outside for weeks. She was described as a “service dog” — we assure you, she wasn’t.   But you’d never know her past by meeting her. Suzy Q is full of joy, personality, and affection. She's playful, curious, and always ready to snuggle. She loves toys, walks, and especially burrowing into blankets for naps. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and just wants to be where her people are.   House trained Crate trained Great with all people Living happily with dogs from 5–90lbs   While she lives well with a pack, Suzy Q is very people-focused and would do just fine as your one-and-only furry best friend.   Her one flaw? She’s terrible at meeting other dogs on leash. We’re working on it — but expect some drama on walks when other pups are near.   Suzy Q is ready to start her next chapter with a loving family who will spoil her, play with her, and never leave her behind. Could that be you?   Please apply - APPLICATION (See our Dog Adoption FAQs before applying)  December 5, 2025, 9:12 am

Story
Basement Puppy - Cocoa Hello there! My name is Cocoa and I am the smallest one of my litter of 5 puppies who were born under a house. It was nice and cozy for a while, but then we got rescued at 5 weeks and came to our foster mom. Our mom was a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. Mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. We love being with our foster mom and playing with the different dogs at the house. One thing you should know is that I can walk through puppy gates as I am that small. So I regularly leave the puppy room and go to the back to see the chihuahua named Busy Boots and the poodles who hang out there. It is fun! Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I favor the chihuahua side I think. I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Shrimp — a little gentleman with a big heart, weighing in at just 8 lbs. This 10-year-old Chihuahua–Maltese mix we think, is as sweet as they come. Shrimp is a gentle, happy boy who loves nothing more than being close to his person. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to make sure you don’t get lost without him. Even though he doesn’t have any teeth, Shrimp is a true foodie at heart — mealtime is his favorite time! He’s crate trained and sleeps well, though sometimes he can’t quite make it through the night, so he wears a diaper just to be safe. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s learning. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will fill your days with love and quiet companionship, Shrimp is ready to wiggle right into your heart. Local Only adoption fee is $200(in TX)

Story
Ready for a new friend? Meet Honey! Honey is a sweet dog, just like her name she is oozing with affection and love. She is a very medium/small sized beagle/chi mix, she is housebroken and likes to let people know when she needs to go out by pawing at your legs. Loves to cuddle with you, she can be a velcro dog sometimes and will make your couch her permanent home!. Honey doesn't like to share her affection with others and is adoptable into a single dog/animal home. She does tolerate the foster mom's kitties but honestly she would really love to be the center of someone's life. She has MORE than enough love and devotion to fill your heart every day. She is crate trained. She loves to sleep in the bed too! If you are looking for the yin to your yang, the bread to your jam or the pup to your life... HONEY is the ONE!!!! Story
Ealy is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet, with a heart full of love and affection. She is happiest when she’s cuddled up close to her people and truly needs that connection. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, playing with her toys, or following you around the house, Ealy just wants to be part of the family. She adores everyone she meets—adults, kids, and strangers alike—and does wonderfully with other dogs. Toys are one of her favorite things, and she can happily entertain herself or invite her dog friends to play. When the leash comes out, Ealy lights up with excitement because she knows it’s time for a walk and more time spent with her favorite humans. Ealy is doing great with potty training and uses a doggy door to go outside. She prefers being near her people and can feel anxious when crated, but because she loves her family so deeply. She would thrive in a home where her people enjoy a dog that wants to be close, cuddly, and involved in everyday life. More than anything, Ealy is looking for a loving family who wants a true companion—one who will give kisses freely, cuddle endlessly, and love with her whole heart. She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal, affectionate addition to the right home. Ealy is truly the best little girl and is ready to find her forever family to cuddle for a lifetime.
