Hello, my Name is Percy, it's short for Perseverance. I am a 7 year old Chihuahua, I am spayed and current on all shots. Sadly I tested positive for heartworms, so I was started on treatment. Treatment almost killed me so I am taking a safer route. I am in rescue because I was found by a sweet woman who was house sitting. She said I was quite the survivalist. Nobody had ever seen me before. I was gathering everything I needed out of someone's garage and taking it back to a flat bed trailer that I claimed, I even had some yummy cat food I have NEVER known humans to be nice and gentle so when the man came to trap me I was soooo scared. The man turned out to be safe he even brought me to rescue. I have been here a long time being worked with. everyone has shown me that humans are good and loving. I will need a patient and understanding adopter who will allow me some time to adjust. Once I trust you I am the sweetest silliest girl. I am a goofball who enjoys company and soft beds. ##1736828##

Meet Freddie!This precious boy was dumped in a backyard with nowhere to go! Luckily, he was dumped with a great woman who is active in rescue. She immediately went to work networking with several rescues to get him and his playmate safe. Another local rescue took his playmate and we were able to take Freddie because an AMAZING foster opened up her home yet again Fostering saves lives! If we had more we could do more.Sweet Freddie had all his vetting done.He is heartworm negative! He is neutered, current on vaccines and preventions, he is microchiped and comes with a special geo tag!Freddie is 8 years old and he is a shy guy at first, but warms right up! Allow me to introduce Keno! This little lover has been running the streets for the last 2 months that we know of. Keno hit the jackpot when he met a girlfriend living in a mobile home park. This got Keno seen by an amazing woman who wanted to help. It was the park manager, she was able to keep Keno fed as he stuck around a couple months due to his new girlfriend, and the manager worked on earning his trust.It finally happened, he walked right into her arms. She quickly took him into her office and called us. Of course his little girlfriend followed. Lucky in love is what we call this rescue We are so grateful that little Keno is safe and so is his girlfriend Roulette (Roo)Everyone took a gamble and hit the jackpot on the rescue life! We are so very grateful for the park manager she never gave up on him and his little girlfriend. Keno was vetted, he tested negative for heartworms, he is microchiped, and has a linked geotag. He is also neutered, current on all preventions and current on vaccines. We aged this little 13lb guy at around 8 or 9 months old.Keno is sweet, loving and playful. He is dog and cat friendly.
