Story
Meet Pepper! Pepper was found wandering a neighbor and some nice ladies took her in and searched for her owners, but ended up not finding them. No microchip, collar, tag, nothing. Once her stray hold was completed, they brought her to us. Boy is she cute AND sweet! She was loved at some point in her life as she knows basic commands (when treats are involved) and his house/pad/crate trained. Pepper does get really excited (once she gets to know you) when you get home, she likes to jump and get kisses! lol She is an ACTIVE girl and definitely needs a fence for “zoomies” and would prefer another dog friend (unless her people are home most of the time). She is great with most people and pets, however she will chase kitties if they are running around. She is around a year old and is a perfect size! Not too little and not too big, weighing 17 pounds. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. The adoption fee is $200 Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks (either in person or virtual) for each pet before approving an adoption. Home owners and those a fenced in yard are always given preference.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Meet Katy! (AKA Katy Bug) She was surrendered by her owner due to a move unfortunately, so that’s why she’s need a FURever home now. Oh my word…she the sweetest girl ever! She is so friendly and walked in the house liked she had always been here! This girl is a major cuddler and lap dog, so be warned! lol Oh and she has the softest fur for a chihweenie I’ve ever touched! Katy is 4-5 years old and weighs 12 pounds. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. She must be kept on heartworm prevention all of her life like all dogs should be. She is great with people of all ages and other dogs. She has been good with most of my cats, but there is 1 she doesn’t care for at all, so it will just depend on the cat. She is pretty good in the house and is used to a fence or leash walking. As always, please expect a few accidents as she adjusts to her new home. The adoption fee is $225 Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. *PLEASE NOTE* Some of the FURkids may have a higher fee than others, to help balance the costs to cover other FURkids needs as well. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks (either in person or virtual) for each pet before approving an adoption. Meet Ladybug & Ginger — the Perfect Mother–Daughter Duo! We usually introduce our adoptables one at a time… but these two beautiful girls have written their own story — and it turns out the happiest ending is one they share together. Ladybug, the mama, is playful, silly, outgoing, and full of love for everyone she meets. She’s the kind of dog who lights up a room just by walking into it. Her daughter Ginger is shy, gentle, and incredibly sweet. She looks to her mom for confidence, comfort, and reassurance — and the bond they share is truly something special. Watching them together, it became clear that keeping them as a pair is in Ginger’s best interest, and honestly… they’re just the perfect combo. Ladybug brings the joy and goofiness, Ginger brings the soft sweetness, and together they make the sweetest team. Both girls are fully vetted, healthy, and ready for their forever home — one where they can stay side-by-side, just like they’ve always been. If you’ve been waiting for a sign that two is better than one… this is it. Ladybug & Ginger are ready to love you — together. ##2488150##

Story
Meet Gator – our tiny, spicy, three-legged land shark Gator is a 3-year-old Chihuahua and a certified member of the Tripod Mafia (he's missing a leg, not the attitude). He’s about 10 pounds of sass, spice, and bite-sized chaos. Gator isn’t here to make friends... at first. In fact, he might try to bite you before he likes you – think of him as a very small dragon guarding a heart of gold. But give him time, earn his trust, and suddenly you’re the chosen one – his human for life. Once you’re in the circle, you’ll have a fiercely loyal cuddle bug who follows you around like your own spicy shadow. Fully vetted A loyal weirdo Three legs Loving heart He’s not for first-time dog owners or the faint of heart. Gator needs someone patient, experienced, and able to appreciate the majestic gremlin energy that is Chihuahua spice level 10. Think you're worthy of this little land gator? Apply now. He’ll be watching. Closely. ##2469014##
