Meet Niles Niles was surrendered to rescue after his owner had passed away. Unfortunately I don’t know what his name was and the person that surrendered him will not respond to any messages now. So the name I decided to start calling him is Niles. He is around 8-9 years old. He is shy at first, but after a few days here, he came out of his shell. As long as other dogs, cats, and people don’t get all up in his face he seems to be very tolerant of pets and people. He is a pretty easy pooch to love and care for. He has been neutered, no heart murmur, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on all preventatives. He is good in the house as long as he gets plenty of potty breaks. He will also use puppy pads. He does like lying in his crate occasionally too. A fence is a plus or someone that likes to go for walks. I think he’d like to have another calm dog friend to hang out with too. The adoption fee is $150 Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. Hello, my Name is Percy, it's short for Perseverance. I am a 7 year old Chihuahua, I am spayed and current on all shots. Sadly I tested positive for heartworms, so I was started on treatment. Treatment almost killed me so I am taking a safer route. I am in rescue because I was found by a sweet woman who was house sitting. She said I was quite the survivalist. Nobody had ever seen me before. I was gathering everything I needed out of someone's garage and taking it back to a flat bed trailer that I claimed, I even had some yummy cat food I have NEVER known humans to be nice and gentle so when the man came to trap me I was soooo scared. The man turned out to be safe he even brought me to rescue. I have been here a long time being worked with. everyone has shown me that humans are good and loving. I will need a patient and understanding adopter who will allow me some time to adjust. Once I trust you I am the sweetest silliest girl. I am a goofball who enjoys company and soft beds. ##1736828##
