Piper would be ok with 1 or 2 older kids in the home, but younger kids stress her out too much.

Meet Sasquatch! You might have spotted this elusive little lady around, but she`s finally ready to march her way into a new home! She was originally transferred from another shelter, so we don`t have much history on her. However, during her time here, Sasquatch has proven herself to be quite the sassy yet sweet senior lady. She can be a bit particular about her personal space at times, so we are requiring any kids in the home are 6 years or older. She`s also gotten along with smaller, respectful dogs while here, but we would like to do a dog intro if you already have a canine at home. Lastly, Sasquatch does have a mass in her mouth on her lower jaw. We did biopsy this site, but the biopsy was inconclusive and could be either an inflammatory lesion or a type of tumor that may invade bone tissue. Further testing would be needed to determine which she has, and any adopter should be prepared to monitor Sasquatch for any signs of discomfort with this mass. If you`re interested in meeting with this special senior lady, please ask a kennel technician for assistance!

Napoleon is quite the character, as his name suggests. He came to us as a pretty fearful, aggressive pup, but with lots of work from his foster he is learning to trust humans and is getting a little overly confident now. He is learning that he is not in charge and he needs a human who will not bow down to his every whim and mood swing. His foster says, "Show no fear and he will love you!" As long as you aren't hesitant with him he does great and will let you do pretty much anything to him. But if someone is shy and hesitant around him he goes on a little tirade and can get growly and nippy . If you are an experienced, confident human who would love a little buddy, then Napoleon is for you!
