Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/24/24 Litter Name: You & Me Estimated Date of Birth: July 14th - July 21st Dog Name: Carter Sex: Female Spay Status: Not yer spayed Estimated Breed Mix: Chihuahua Approximate Weight: 5-8 lbs Adoption Fee: $550   Description: Carter and her brother Cash were desperately in need of a plan so that they wouldn’t end up in a high kill Texas shelter. They are sweet pups who will stay small in size, they love to be cuddled and follow their people around the house. They will make great companions!   This litter should stay 25lbs and under.  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 24, 2024, 5:43 pm

Story
This little 9# cutie is Dakota-he is around 6 years old. Gets along fine with dogs, but does not like them to get in his face, he sort of just stays to himself. Likes women a lot but does not trust men until he gets to know them real well. Likes children that are calmer and even smaller ones. Heartworm negative and neutered. Crates really well and sleeps all night. It is his safe quiet place so will go there on his own when he wants. He is being fed wet food mixed with dry, will not just eat dry since his previous owner fed him table food. He is a sweet little lap dog for someone who likes to sit with you and also lay on the back of my couch and nap. Walks well on a leash and does fine with car rides. Will go for walks and ride in a doggie stroller. Great for baths, grooming and nails also. Gave me kisses the entire time. He is now ready to find his very own furever family. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this cutieThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Roxy found herself in a high kill Texas shelter, she is the sweetest little girl with a fun personality. She is very friendly with other dogs and cats. She love people and will even play dress up and pose for pictures! She’s the definition of a lap dog! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. Meet Checkers! This little guy was found as a stray in a rural Texas town, but he’s ready to trade the streets for a cozy lap! He’s great with people, loves a good cuddle, and can’t wait to meet his forever family!
