Don’t let his small size fool you—he’s got big dog energy and absolutely loves romping around with larger dogs. Whether it’s a game of chase, tug-of-war, or wrestling with our three adult dogs, Blue Ridge is always ready for fun! After playtime, he’s all about the cuddles. He’s a total sweetheart who will happily curl up next to you for snuggles and naps. He’s learning quickly and can already follow simple commands—this smart pup is eager to please! Blue Ridge adores children and would thrive in a home with little ones who can match his energy and enjoy his goofy, lovable personality. But keep in mind—he’s still a puppy, which means he’s learning boundaries and needs continued gentle guidance. Story
About a year ago, Ella was dumped in my neighborhood starved and in need of a good home. I took her in and have brought her back to a healthy weight, potty trained her, socialized her with people, have taken her to dog parks, and now she is ready for her forever home. She loves attention, is very active, lives to play but is primarily a snuggle dog. If you want to spend a day in bed, she is absolutely game. I would have adopted her out sooner but she was bitten by a spider and I wanted to make sure she was fully healed before finding her a home. I know she would be such a great addition to a family where she is the only dog, I'm not sure how she would do with other dogs as since moving we havent gone to the dog park as often, but when we went to Ed Austin dog park she loved it and played very nicely. She is great with our family cat they sleep in bed together regularly.

My dad passed away a year ago. Kelly is a super sweet little chihuahua and even at 9 years old he is full of puppy-like energy! He can sometimes be a little anxious but overall he is calm and likes being on your lap or underfoot which is why he wears a cat bell. He loves to cuddle and is quite the charmer. He has a diet of dry food daily ...1/4 c in the morning and 1/4 c in the evening and as a treat wet food on Fridays. He can be a picky eater so I wouldnt change it. He likes looking dapper so he will wear a sweater or a tie if you want to dress him. He is also not a barker overall. He will bark if someone is near the house but he settles down quickly. Kelly is not properly housetrained. My dad was very elderly and could not walk him often so Kelly got in the habit of making in the house even after a walk -he also marks so we keep a belly band on him. My daughter and I were in an accident and my husband is the only one caring for us. We just cant keep him anymore
