Story
Suki, a Chiweenie is four years old. We adopted her from Atlanta Humane in early 2023. Suki loves to be rubbed and showered with attention. Fetch is her favorite activity! She knows & understands simple commands (i.e. yes, no, come here, wait, outside & treat- her favorite). She enjoys sunbathing and being outside with the family. She is also crate trained and knows it as her “bed” & is house trained. Like most dogs, Suki has great hearing and barks whenever she hears something or someone she’s unfamiliar with. She definitely lets the house know (by barking) when someone is at the door or comes to visit. She’s not a fan of baths or the vacuum cleaner. Suki was diagnosed with IVDD in late September which caused temporary paralysis. She’s recovered and is back walking. She has a little wobble when running, sometimes causing her to fall down but she’s able to get up immediately. Up-to-date with Rabies vaccine only.

Story
Daisy is a 3 year old Chiweenie who loves cuddles and belly rubs. Let her outside and she’s a runner for hours. Leashed trained, potty trained and house trained. Very protective and gets along very well with others. Loves to take care of baby puppies and kittens and cuddles next to anyone. If you let her, she’ll be the ring leader of the group.

I just adopted her but shes a very playful energetic 1yr old who is TOO MUCH for my small senior dog - she has ended up hurting him NOT AGGRESSIVELY just wanting to play and I cant handle her and bc of a car wreck injury , my back and shoulders hurt bc shes 45 lbs . She needs an energetic owner ! She i s so sweet , NOT aggressive , completely housebroken (uses doggy door ) but i am having a very hard time handling her - she loves my back yard but my old senior dog (18 lbs ) is terrified of her . She would be great with an owner who likes long walks / hikes (great on leash ) or energetic kids

Meet Georgie — the little old man with all the love to give Georgie is a 15-year-old long-haired chihuahua searching for someone to cherish him through his golden years. This tiny gentleman is ready to settle into his true forever home. He’s extremely low-maintenance and surprisingly healthy for his age. Most days, you’ll find Georgie curled up in his bed or stretched out in a sunny spot, soaking up the warmth. But don’t be fooled—he has a goofy, playful side and loves little bursts of fun with his person! Georgie is friendly with dogs of all sizes and even enjoys the company of cats.And… let’s just say he could win an Oscar for the dramatic performances he gives when he doesn’t get his way. A few tiny screams and he’s over it—but he’ll definitely make you laugh. He truly needs someone who can be his daily companion and appreciate both his love and his theatrics. Georgie’s forever home wish list: A fenced yard (he’s not really used to leash life) A home without young children, or with kids in high school or older (he’s gentle, just easily startled) Someone who will let him sleep in the bed—just like he does with his foster family.
