Jack is a chiweenie, around 13 years old — I adopted him from a shelter about ten years ago. He came from an abusive first home, so he's a gentle, skittish soul who needs a calm environment and patience to feel safe. He's low-energy, quiet, house-trained, and good with kids, cats, and other dogs.This past year Jack lost most or all of his sight. He gets around his familiar space fine but would do best with someone who has experience with blind or anxious dogs, and a calm, predictable home rather than a chaotic one.I'm having to rehome him due to a new baby and a busy work/school schedule that doesn't leave him the quiet, patient attention he needs and deserves.

This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but we’ve realized he would be happiest in a quiet home without small children. Fennie is a playful, silly little guy who loves being with his person and would thrive as someone’s spoiled little companion. He loves treats, playing fetch, and spending time outside. He is also CKC certified. He recently turned 4 on September 3rd. Fennie does best in a calm, predictable environment. He can be anxious and protective of his home and person, so we feel an adult-only home with no other pets would be his ideal fit. We love Fennie tremendously and are being very selective because we want his next home to truly be his forever home.
