Story
Suki, a 4 year old Chiweenie was adopted from Atlanta Humane in early 2023. She loves to be rubbed and showered with attention. Fetch is her favorite activity! She knows & understands simple commands (i.e. yes, no, come here, wait, outside & treat- her favorite). She enjoys sunbathing and being outside with the family. She is also crate trained and knows it as her “bed” & is house trained. Like most dogs, Suki has great hearing and barks whenever she hears something or someone she’s unfamiliar with. She definitely lets the house know (by barking) when someone is at the door or comes to visit. She’s not a fan of baths or the vacuum cleaner. Suki was diagnosed with IVDD in late September which caused temporary paralysis. She’s recovered and is back walking. She has a little wobble when running, sometimes causing her to fall down but she’s able to get up immediately. Up-to-date with Rabies vaccine only.

Story
🐾 Meet Harley! At just 1 year old, this sweet girl is the perfect mix of playful goofball and cuddly snuggle bug. She’s always up for a game of fetch, but when playtime is over, she’s happiest curled up close to her people soaking up all the love. She’s dog-friendly and kid-friendly, making her a wonderful fit for an active family or a home with other pups. Her medium 30-lb size is just right: big enough to keep up on adventures, small enough to fit comfortably into any household. True to her age, she’s silly, curious, and full of personality — the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily and then melt your heart when she leans in for cuddles. She’s still young and eager to please, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and bonding. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who can play hard, love harder, and bring nonstop joy into your life, Harley might just be your perfect match. 💛 Dog-friendly 💛 Kid-friendly 💛 Loves toys & fetch 💛 Snuggly and affectionate

Story
Meet Piper— an adorable Chihuahua mix! (Perhaps a Chiweenie?) She is around two years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Piper found herself in a local shelter after being seized by authorities in a horrific hoarding case. Due to her lack of socialization, she was at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to step up and save her! Due to her past, Piper is a nervous girl and is still learning how to trust, love, and feel safe in this world! Piper’s journey in her foster home hasn’t always been easy, but she’s made great progress. She is still very skittish and easily startled, so she’s looking for an experienced, calm, and understanding adopter who can continue the gentle, patient care she’s been receiving in her foster home. She enjoys snuggling and playing with her foster siblings and we would love to see her go to a home with a confident dog around her size to help show her the ropes! What Piper needs most is a consistent environment where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. With time, love, and patience, we know this sweet girl will continue to shine! Piper is not comfortable on a leash and will require a secure, private fenced-in yard where she can safely play, explore, and potty. Due to her skittish nature, she would not do well in a home with children or with frequent young visitors. A generous supporter is sponsoring part of Piper’s adoption fee. Her adoption fee is $75. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Story
Preston is a 2-year-old mixed breed cutie who weighs 14 pounds. Preston and his sister Penny came from a hoarding situation that landed them in a local county shelter. Due to their skittish nature and fear of humans, they were at a high risk for euthanasia. Luckily for them, Tiny Paws was able to step up and pull them from the shelter. They have since come a long way. Penny has found herself a new home and now we are looking for a foster-to-adopt or adopter for Preston. We are confident he will thrive in the right home. Preston has made so much progress in his foster home and is ready for a forever home to call his own. He needs a home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and play, and ideally a dog friend around his size or larger than him that can continue to show him the ropes of the sweet life! He enjoys playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, but also loves playing with toys, even by himself! He will toss a toy up in the air and entertain himself. When he is done playing, he likes to curl up on the couch for a nap. We know he will continue to thrive with the right family. If you feel Preston may be the right fit for your home, apply today! A generous supporter is sponsoring part of Preston’s adoption fee. His adoption fee is now $75. ******************** Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area.
