9 wk old pups 8 in the liter 2 females 5 males up-to-date on shots and wormed ready for their new homes. These puppies will probably be small estimation of I would say less than 15 pounds maybe parents are not that big but they will be ready for their new homes. The pictures aren’t the best pictures because they would not hold Steel for pictures. I had to have someone hold them. Sorry about the pictures. Adoption fee is 400

Story
Smokey is a very good and happy boy. His dad has become unable to care for himself and so this very good boy and his brother, Lucky, are needing a new forever home. Their dad is a kind man who let the boys have the run of the house and yard. The family members caring for them now report that the boys are progressing well with their house manners. Once boundaries are re-established, it seems both Smokey and Lucky are good in the house. They are affectionate pets and are fine with encouragement on the leash. These very worthy boys are waiting for the next chapter. We want this to be with a person as loving as the first. Please consider Smokey and possibly Lucky too. They qualify for the Pets for Vets and Seniors for Seniors adoptions. Both boys are neutered and just had dentals. They had vaccines updated and had negative heartworm tests. Lucky has no vision in his right eye due to a previous illness.

Lucky and Smokey came to Rescue after their person could no longer care for himself and so the boys are needing a new home. Lucky is a very good and happy boy. Story
Maggie is a beautiful pit bull mix. Fantastic with adults and children. Very loving. Cuddly. Has been an emotional support to owner. House broken. Not destructive. Does not chew. Does not dig. Does not beg. Currently lives in a home with two other dogs. Plays with them and gets along with them well. She sometimes visits another home with dogs that she has become familiar with and plays with them well. She has shown aggression toward new dogs when they were introduced to her territory. She does require some patience to warm her up to new dogs. Have not tried warming her up to cats. Owner is moving and unable to take Maggie with him. This is very sad for us and we want to find her a loving adoptive family. Maggie prefers to sleep indoors and does not tolerate cold weather well. Does like to play outside. She is trainable and listens fairly well. Owner will provide a month supply of her food, dog bowls, toys, and bed to a loving family. Please help

Woody is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Woody is shy around new people, but quickly comes out of his shell. He loves stuffed toys and squeaky toys but he does destroy them quite quickly so you have to watch him with them. He has been around kids of all ages(as young as 2) and has done well. He does really well with cats. He is reactive at the vets office, but only there, everywhere else I have never had a problem. He has been crated to sleep since he was a puppy since we can't trust him with toys or stuffed things. He does best with a harness and not a collar. Loves to run around and play for a while then curl up on your lap or next to you to relax. As long as you regularly get him outside, he is housebroken.
