Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Woody is shy around new people, but quickly comes out of his shell. He loves stuffed toys and squeaky toys but he does destroy them quite quickly so you have to watch him with them. He has been around kids of all ages(as young as 2) and has done well. He does really well with cats. He is reactive at the vets office, but only there, everywhere else I have never had a problem. He has been crated to sleep since he was a puppy since we can't trust him with toys or stuffed things. He does best with a harness and not a collar. Loves to run around and play for a while then curl up on your lap or next to you to relax. As long as you regularly get him outside, he is housebroken. Hi, I’m Bandit. I’m a small, big-hearted guy with a talent for fetch, lap naps, and making my person feel like the center of the universe. My vet care is all up to date (including a fresh dental cleaning), and I’m on flea and heartworm prevention so I’m ready to move right in. Here’s what I’m proud of: Housebroken & crate trained. Give me regular potty breaks and watch for my “I gotta go” signals and we’re golden. Champion snuggler. My favorite move is to curl up on your lap or gently pat your face with my paw while I rest my head on you—like a little cat-dog hybrid. Fetch pro. Toss a ball and I’m on it, then right back for another round. I do have a bit of that classic Chihuahua personality: it takes me time to warm up to new people, and until I do, I may do a little dance around strangers’ feet and even sneak in a playful ankle nip. It’s just my way of saying “I need to know you first.” With my chosen person, though, I’m pure sweetness. I’m fine with other friendly dogs, not a big eater (treats are the exception!), and happiest in a calm home where I can bond deeply. Because I thrive best close to my person, I’m available for local Indianapolis adoption only. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who will adore you, entertain you with fetch sessions, and nap contentedly on your lap, I’m your Bandit.
