Story
Nina is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle almost as much as she loves playing! She is 7 months old and has lots of puppy energy. She would love a family that will take her on walks and encourage her zoomies around the yard. Nina is potty-trained, kennel-trained, and great on a leash. She can be a little shy of new people and loud noises, so we are working on building her confidence! She is great with cats and dogs with slower introductions, as new dogs can scare her at first. Because of this she would also do best school aged or older kids only. No toddlers. Once she warms up to you, she is the best companion! Story
Ava was adopted from a shelter as a puppy about 11 years ago. We have loved her for so many years and this is a very difficult decision for us to make. She was our first baby and we very much treated her that way! She has always been very cuddly and loyal. She enjoys going on walks but does not do well around other dogs. Unfortunately, having real children has been extremely challenging for her to accept. When we brought our first home 3 years ago she began barking a lot. Once we brought the second home a year and a half ago she increased the barking and started growling. We have recently moved and the barking has increased and she has begun growling at us and the kids. We have another baby coming soon and are concerned she will act on the growling eventually if she continues to be around children. We are looking for someone to love her and give her the individual attention she needs. We know she is a great dog, but clearly feels anxiety or fear with children.
