Alfred is an amazingly smart and fun dog. He plays fetch, loves to lay in his bed and squeak his toys. He goes into his kennel when asked, goes outside to potty, and is starting to absolutely love car rides and adventures. He is the most loyal pup ever, always looking to his one person. We aren't sure of his breed, but he is spicy like a chi, protects you and your home like a min pin, and plays like a heeler. Alfred takes time to warm up to people, and it will take someone special to allow him the time he needs. But once you're in, you will have a loyal shadow and a dog you could train to do anything! Meet Rory! ❤️ Rory is a 5-year-old, 35-pound Corgi/Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into one lovable package! He is engaging, curious, spunky, and loving, and he’ll keep you entertained with his quirky ways. Rory has short bursts of energy and then is happy to settle down. He gets along well with other dogs, although he’s not a fan of sharing and would prefer to have his own things. He also likes to be in control and isn’t shy about letting you know when he disagrees with something! Rory is house trained, with one exception: he sometimes gets so excited or nervous when meeting new people that he may pee on them. Once he gets past the introductions and decides you’re his friend, this isn’t an issue. Rory has a strong personality and would do best with an experienced owner who understands the importance of consistent rules, boundaries, and limits. He’s a smart boy who may try to negotiate when he doesn’t get his way, so he needs someone who will patiently and consistently show him what is expected. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with plenty of personality, Rory may be your guy!
