Story
I need help rehoming my 9 yr old dog Elvis. He's a family dog and a good boy but we have a small house and 3 cats and he didn't grow up around cats. My parents originally had him at their house but his paw got infected in June and they were going to put him down for it. My husband and I nursed him back to health and he's all good now! He's great with other dogs just too curious with cats. He's potty trained, would come with his kennel, a lot of food, treats, toys, his bed, and medical history. He does have "fatty" bumps but the vets aren't concerned about them and said most older dogs get them. He still has an easy 3-5 years left if not more. He has no current medical issues (since we fixed his paw) but he is showing signs of maybe some early onset dementia. He's part beagle so he does bark like one but he really won't bark much unless he's outside and sees a cat or bunny or something. He knows commands like kennel, sit, and here (and recall on whistle) but will still need to be leash

Story
Sadie is going up for adoption. My back is to the point that I can't handle her anymore (I can barely walk now). She's very strong. She pulls on a leash, and escapes from her harness. Always comes back home. I'd like to find her a good home. Barring that, she goes back to the humane society, which might be the end of her. She's extremely friendly. Gets along with cats and dogs. She is a handful (2 hands anyway). Spayed, current rabies. Approximately 6 years old. Come get her. We're in Wamego Kansas. Good watchdog. Absolutely house-trained. Note: She has killed chickens.

Story
Walker is ready to find his furever home! He'll always have a funny gait, but his legs have healed wonderfully. This sweet, 7-month-old boy has been making so much progress! He’s getting the hang of his sit, lay down, and kennel training and is becoming such a wonderful companion. He’s wonderful with other dogs and absolutely adores children! He also loves the cats in his foster home — maybe a little too much. He’s still learning to respect their space and can be overly curious and playful, but he has never shown any signs of aggression toward them. His favorite part of the day is relaxing outside — you can almost always find him stretched out in the grass, soaking up the sunshine or happily joining you for porch time. He would love a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely run around, explore, and play with his toys. He’s the perfect mix of playful, goofy and cuddly. He loves being close to his people and is going to make a lucky family very happy! ❤️🐶 All dogs go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on preventatives and age-appropriate vaccinations.
