Story
Alfred is an amazingly smart and fun dog. He plays fetch, loves to lay in his bed and squeak his toys. He goes into his kennel when asked, goes outside to potty, and is starting to absolutely love car rides and adventures. He is the most loyal pup ever, always looking to his one person. We aren't sure of his breed, but he is spicy like a chi, protects you and your home like a min pin, and plays like a heeler. Alfred takes time to warm up to people, and it will take someone special to allow him the time he needs. But once you're in, you will have a loyal shadow and a dog you could train to do anything! Story
Meet Carbon! Carbon is a handsome 1-year-old with a heart as big as his playful personality! This sweet boy loves people and is happiest when he’s spending time with his family, whether that’s playing, snuggling on the couch, or simply hanging out by your side. He absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to romp around with. Carbon has also done well with two of the cats in his foster home. One cat isn’t a fan of dogs and reacts by hissing and swatting, which encourages Carbon to chase. Because of this, he would do best with dog-savvy cats that are comfortable around dogs and with slow, thoughtful introductions. Carbon is still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered house dog. He’s making progress with potty training but isn’t fully reliable yet, so he’ll need a family committed to continuing his training. He’s also just beginning to learn about walking on a leash. Right now he doesn’t quite understand what it’s all about, but with patient guidance and positive reinforcement, he’s likely to become a wonderful walking companion. One thing to know about Carbon is that he’s an impressive jumper! He’ll need to be taken outside on a leash unless your yard has a tall privacy fence to keep him safe. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate young dog who is eager to learn and ready to become a devoted companion, Carbon may be the perfect addition to your family.
