Story
Winston is a Chiweenie mix with a major cattitude. 😼 He’s all alpha energy. He gets along with our older dog and kids unless they make him feel like he’s not in control. I would like to place him somewhere without kids or other dogs. His legs are like four inches long but somehow he can jump four foot fences. 🪄🧙‍♀️ We keep him on a lead or leash. He’s a great walker. Loves scratches behind his majestic ears. Highly motivated by food. We know for sure his mom was a chiweenie but don’t know about dad. He’s about 30 lbs. super muscular. Doesn’t mind being in his crate. House trained but willing to 💩 in my son’s room. He has more spirit than most people I know.

I adopted Angel 9.22.22 after losing my husband. She was adopted from High Tail Sanctuary She is very lovable and likes to cuddle. She was friends with 2 golden retrievers until they moved away. Angel was 2 when I adopted her. Very good dog I just don’t have the time to give her the love she needs. She has attended daycare in the past.

Story
Banner is a 4 year old playful pup. According to an Embark DNA test, hes mostly pit bull and pyrenees with some labrador, golden, and pug mixed in. We adopted him from the Humane Society of Missouri when he was about 4 months. He grew up with another large dog and lives most of his days inside on a couch or outside in a secure fenced-in yard. Hes good at chilling at home while weve been at work. Hes generally good with people but can get hyper about meeting new humans. Hes completely house trained and knows not to jump on people. However, he is not leash trained. Our hearts are broken because we love him dearly and he is a such a special pup. However, within the last year, he has acted up a few times regarding food aggression. We believe this is due to our baby human addition(s) to our family within the past year. We know he will be a really good fit for a family with older kids or a couple or just an adult who will cuddle him at the end of the day.

Taz is a good puppy.Adopted him from a past coworker in KCMO who bred pomsky puppies with unexpected litter.I believe the mom was a pomsky so I’m not sure that he is all the way pomsky. He is almost 2 this spring. He is a very high energetic dog. He has been in a crate on the inside due to jumping on tables. As well as having two young children. He stays on a long leash in backyard due to jumping fence. Requires choke collar unfortunately due to chewing through 8+ harnesses and slipping out of collars. Im unable to keep up with him expecting a baby soon. He deserves not to be in a crate. He deserves a better life I can give. Ive tried letting family take him in but nipped at my girl cousin. Needs training. Needs Someone who has time to run out his energy and work with him. He loves other dogs. He likes kids but with little kids will play bite and jump on too rough. Never been with cats. Likes affection, fetch, running, water baby pool, our baby slide. Will neuter before.

Story
Agatha is a 10 year old chihuahua who weighs about 12 pounds. Although technically a senior, Agatha is full of energy and very playful. She is mostly housebroken and does well with other dogs and respectful children. Agatha’s play style with other dogs can be “rough and tumble,“ so it’s important that other dogs in the home are on board with this. Agatha does not enjoy going for walks and will demand to be carried after a few minutes. If you’re interested in learning more about Agatha, email her foster mom at jeanine.sellman@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application.All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs.
