A loyal companion who’s always by your side and loves belly rubs, treats and to snuggle. Scruffy is 7 years old, Spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, had a dental and has a clean bill of health. She is approximately 16 lbs. She is good with other dogs, but her ideal fur sibling(s) (if applicable) would have a more passive personality. She does well with respectable children. Scruffy is potty and crate trained. She is a typical dachshund that takes a bit to warm up with new people - Getting down to her level and treats help! But once she’s warmed up, you’ll be inseparable and her new best friend. Dachshunds can be chatty and bred as burrow hunters she will need regular exercise. Scruffy would not be a good fit for an apartment. Her ideal home is someone who is not gone for long periods of time, willing to go for walks or has a fenced in yard. She loves to explore! She’s happiest at night sleeping at the foot of the bed with her family pack. She is the best girl and sure to provide unconditional love and devotion to her new family.
