Meet Rosie — 11-Year-Old Chihuahua Rosie lost her home on 2/12/26 after her loving owners became ill. At 11 years old, this little lady is hoping to find a calm, gentle home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe and loved.Rosie may be small, but she has a confident and independent personality. Unlike many Chihuahuas who prefer to be carried everywhere, Rosie likes to travel on her own four paws and explore the world around her. She walks beautifully on leash and would enjoy daily strolls with her person.Rosie is very friendly with people and happily allowed visitors of all ages to pet her. While she’s not a dog who wants to be held constantly, she will eventually settle into your lap once she feels comfortable — especially if you`re relaxing on the floor with her.When meeting other dogs, Rosie can be a little nervous. She was initially vocal around other dogs but did show interest in a calmer dog once the environment quieted down. Because of this, she may be able to live with a calm dog with a proper introduction.Rosie would do best in a quiet home with gentle owners who understand Chihuahua personalities and can give her the peaceful environment she deserves. A senior household or a calmer home with children over 10 would likely suit her best.After losing the only home she’s known, Rosie is ready for a soft place to land — and someone to share her walks, naps, and quiet companionship with.

Taz is a good puppy.Adopted him from a past coworker in KCMO who bred pomsky puppies with unexpected litter.I believe the mom was a pomsky so I’m not sure that he is all the way pomsky. He is almost 2 this spring. He is a very high energetic dog. He has been in a crate on the inside due to jumping on tables. As well as having two young children. He stays on a long leash in backyard due to jumping fence. Requires choke collar unfortunately due to chewing through 8+ harnesses and slipping out of collars. Im unable to keep up with him expecting a baby soon. He deserves not to be in a crate. He deserves a better life I can give. Ive tried letting family take him in but nipped at my girl cousin. Needs training. Needs Someone who has time to run out his energy and work with him. He loves other dogs. He likes kids but with little kids will play bite and jump on too rough. Never been with cats. Likes affection, fetch, running, water baby pool, our baby slide. Will neuter before.

Story
Banner is a 4 year old playful pup. According to an Embark DNA test, hes mostly pit bull and pyrenees with some labrador, golden, and pug mixed in. We adopted him from the Humane Society of Missouri when he was about 4 months. He grew up with another large dog and lives most of his days inside on a couch or outside in a secure fenced-in yard. Hes good at chilling at home while weve been at work. Hes generally good with people but can get hyper about meeting new humans. Hes completely house trained and knows not to jump on people. However, he is not leash trained. Our hearts are broken because we love him dearly and he is a such a special pup. However, within the last year, he has acted up a few times regarding food aggression. We believe this is due to our baby human addition(s) to our family within the past year. We know he will be a really good fit for a family with older kids or a couple or just an adult who will cuddle him at the end of the day.
