Story
Floki is a playful, cuddly, loyal, loving 3 yr old chiweenie. Floki has a high energy level!! He loves to go for walks & play. He wants attention always from playing to chilling & cuddling. Floki is very highly food motivated. He is potty trained to go outside on the command go potty. He knows & follows the commands sit, lay down, roll over, give paw, speak, dance, stay, place(to his crate), come, & has trained to have patience. He is crate trained. Floki does have separation anxiety & has not done well with sitters. He gets upset & does not eat when left w/sitters. He needs an owner who will be home most of the time bc hes very attached. Floki is used to being an only pet because thats all he knows. He loves being with his owner as much as possible throughout his days. With both of us working Floki won't get the amount of attention he needs/deserves. We're hoping to find him a home where he won't be alone and bored. We'd love to meet anyone interested & see how Floki interacts

Weighing around 12 pounds, she’s the perfect little companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate sidekick. Bailey can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon becomes a devoted little shadow. She absolutely loves following her foster mom around the house and being close to her person whenever she can. She enjoys car rides, relaxing in the sunshine, and spending time with other dogs. Bailey is also crate trained and house trained, and she’s currently working on her leash skills, making great progress each day. **Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Jasmine Bailey! Tiny paws, big personality! Jasmine Bailey is a 5-month-old chiweenie cutie weighing just 5½ pounds, but don’t let her size fool you—this little lady has plenty of charm. Born on 7/21/25 right at our rescue (her mama arrived pregnant), Jasmine has been surrounded by love since day one. Jasmine is a happy, curious pup who loves to explore and play. She can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but give her a moment and she’ll warm up with tail wags and sweetness. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having furry friends—cats, however, are still a bit too spooky for her taste! This smart girl already knows how to use a potty pad and understands going outside too. She’s still practicing her leash skills, but she’s learning and getting better every day. Jasmine Bailey is looking for a forever family who will keep up her training, cheer her on, and give her lots of love. She’s a tiny bundle of joy ready to wiggle her way into your heart! Story
Meet Adrian! Adrian’s story is one of resilience, hope, and a second chance he truly deserves. He was rescued by The Sato Project from a horrific hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he lived crammed inside a home with more than 30 other dogs. Despite everything he endured, Adrian has shown incredible strength and a gentle spirit. Now healthy, safe, and thriving, Adrian is ready for his new beginning. He is estimated to be 2–3 years old and weighs 20 lbs — the perfect compact companion. This sweet boy will be flying to Morristown, NJ on December 28th to meet his future family and start his new life. Because of his past, Adrian will need a loving, patient, and understanding home — one that will give him time, kindness, and reassurance as he adjusts to a world that is finally safe. In return, he has so much love to give and is eager to bond with the humans who show him compassion. If you’re looking to make a real difference in a dog’s life and welcome a gentle soul into your home, Adrian is ready for his happily ever after. To Adopt: Fill out an application at thesatoproject.org/applicationform. Questions? Email us at adoption@thesatoproject.org About The Sato Project: The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
