Story
Meet Jimmy — a gentle little guy with a big heart. Jimmy is about eight years old and weighs 10 pounds. While the shelter listed him as a Chihuahua mix, we suspect he may be a Chiweenie thanks to his long body and elegant legs. Jimmy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative — ready for his fresh start. 🌿 Personality & Favorite Things Jimmy absolutely loves being outdoors and going for car rides where he can look out the window and take in the world. He walks nicely on a leash and appears to be house trained, though he has occasionally tried to mark (very normal for a male dog adjusting to a new environment). He gets along well with dogs his size and enjoys toys, especially a good game of tug‑of‑war with someone he trusts. 💛 A Tender Soul Jimmy seems to have experienced some rough patches in his past, and he is understandably fearful of people at first. He needs a patient, loving home willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Because of his sensitivity, he would do best in a home without small children. Once Jimmy trusts you, he blossoms — and he’s hoping to find that special person who will help him feel secure and loved. 🏡 Ready to Meet Jimmy? we call her Annie, she was born Nov 27, 2025. She has started She knows how to use wee wee pads, and go outside w a leash . and she is adorable and calm and sweet deserves a family of her own. She will need an experienced /patient adoptive family. I rescued several small dogs. Belle Starr , is a very petite five month old sweet girl she is indoor wee wee pad trained, she is very shy and skittish until she builds trust , she will do best when the patient adopter message me for an adoption application to be considered, has not been around kids yet, I FEEL SHE NEEDS TO BE ADOPTED TO A FAMILY WITH ANOTHER SMALL DOG FOR HER TO FOLLOW THE LEAD easier transition for her to learn the ropes . Her mom is a shih zu and dad a chiweenie. Text me your email address for an adoption application to be considered 830 237 8588 ✨ Special Adoption Opportunity – Small Chiweenie / Shih Tzu Mixes ✨ We have several of these sweet little rescue babies looking for very special adopters 💛 All of them are fully vetted, but they come from a very unique background. They spent their lives with one elderly owner (a truck driver) and had very limited interaction with the outside world. Because of this, many of them can be skittish and unsure around new people and environments. 🐾 What they’re used to: • Going in and out of a dog door • Sleeping in bed with their person • Living with other small dogs 🐾 What they need: • A patient, committed adopter who understands rescue dogs • A slow transition into their new home • Safe confinement at first (small room + wee wee pads) to build trust • Time to bond at their pace 🚫 These are NOT dogs that can be put straight into a backyard — they are flight risks and can easily get lost if scared. 💡 In my experience, they do BEST in homes that: • Already have another small, confident dog • Are willing to follow guidance and give them time to adjust • Understand that trust is earned, not forced The amazing news? ❤️ Several have already been successfully adopted by families who followed these steps — and they are now thriving in their new lives! These are what I lovingly call my “project babies” — they just need someone willing to give them a chance. If this sounds like the right fit for you, please reach out and I’ll send over an adoption application 🐶💛

Story
Please go slow with me. Life hasn't always been easy so I'm timid and can get snappy when scared. That being said I'll do just about anything for treats- especially the Pupperoni ones! I like being held and will do best in a calm household.
