She's a smart girl who is eager to learn.A quiet little lady: Kira will give you two barks when someone rings the doorbell, but she's otherwise very quiet.Wonderful with children: She's fantastic around people of all ages, including toddlers and babies.Great with other animals: Kira gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, bunnies, and more.A fit for almost any household: Kira would do great in a household of any size due to her calm demeanor.

Story
Livvy's bloodwork results showed "super mutt". She was originally a rescue from California as a baby, and we have had her now for almost 4 years. She is the sweetest, happiest, most playful dog, fully house trained. She has never chewed furniture or shoes or anything like that. She LOVES kids. We have a cat and chickens, and she does fine around them. The chickens wander the yard, and Livvy has never bothered them. She does great on a leash and knows basic commands "sit" and "shake". She can get weird with other dogs if they get into her personal space. She's never hurt another dog, but she might growl a little. However, I've never had issues with other dogs when she's on leash. She just keeps walking. She loves to go for walks. She likes to protect my kids. If they go to the playground while we're walking, she will want to be near the kids. Or if we're going for a walk in the kids fall too far behind or too far ahead, Livvy will start to worry and wait for them.

We are needing to re-home our sweet Tempe. She has had a hard time adjusting to life with a toddler and we just haven’t been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. Tempe is 13 years old and is needing a home without any younger kids and possibly other pets (it might take a little for her to warm up to other pets). All she wants to do is curl up in a blanket and snuggle with you. Please reach out with any questions.
