Story
Dela's owner for the last 9 years is unable to care for her due to her work schedule. I took her in as a foster so she wouldn't be surrendered to the pound. I already have 3 dogs, otherwise I would keep her. She is a sweet 12 year old girl who loves snuggling and treats. She has been so good in the 2 weeks I have had her. No accidents and obeys very well to basic commands. My older corgi barks a lot and she doesn't like loud noises so they have gotten into it a few times. She is content to just snuggle up. She doesn't get zooming but gets very happy and excited when you come home from work. She likes to be near you wherever you go. She does great with my other dogs and her previous owner says she is fine with cats also. Please help me find this sweet girl a forever home. She deserves it.

Story
Meet Woofgang Puck, or just Puck for short! This lovable 8-year-old Chihuahua mix is a little bundle of joy, possibly with a sprinkle of Beagle in his genes. At first, Puck may come off as shy, but give him a moment, and his playful side will shine like a star! Puck adores his toys and loves to get into some light-hearted trouble—just picture him as the life of the party! He enjoys his naps, but don’t let him miss out on the fun; after all, who wants to snooze through an adventure? He loves being outside, but keep an eye on him—if the yard isn’t secure, he might go on his own mini explorations. And be careful! If a door is left open, he’s ready to dash out! When it comes to other dogs, Puck needs a little help. He has a tendency to “assist” them with their meals, which can be quite annoying. His friendly greetings can be a bit much—he barks, jumps, and wags his tail enthusiastically, which may confuse his canine pals. With some training, he can learn to tone it down. He’s also learning how to handle his protective instincts, but if you have other pets, be prepared to guide him through it. Puck is quite the jumper when he’s excited and might unexpectedly leap onto you, giving playful nips at your legs! He listens when corrected but often forgets the rules once the fun starts again. While he’s crate trained, Puck feels much more comfortable snoozing on a cozy bed rather than being confined to a crate. Sleeping in your bed isn’t something he’s into just yet. The good news is, he’s house trained and will let you know when it’s time to go out. Puck does have a heart murmur and takes medication twice a day for it. He can get a bit anxious, especially when being picked up or during car rides, and sitting on laps isn’t really his scene. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home filled with love, patience, and understanding. With your support, Puck will be ready for short hikes and exciting adventures with his favorite human! Puck has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. He also had a recent dental and lost a few teeth. If you are interested in adopting Puck, please complete an adoption application on our website. Just go to uaaf.org/adopt. Story
Gordon aka Hamburglar’s bio: At approximately 8 years old, Gordon (aka Gordo), a Pug/Beagle mix, has a heart just as big as his soulful eyes. He was found as a stray in early November and has since been settling into foster care. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested heart worm negative, and up to date on his wellness exam and dental. That’s the long way of saying he’s ready for his forever home! Gordo is a gentle boy who enjoys a little space to decompress while he gets used to his new surroundings. Once he’s settled in, his affectionate nature really shines through. He’s a polite doggo and non-aggressive He gets along well with other dogs and is fully potty trained. He does enjoy giving cats a chase so would do best in a cat free home. Gordo would love a calm, loving household -where he can take life at his pace and enjoy the cozy comforts he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who needs a little time and love to blossom, Gordon might be your match! If you’re interested in adopting Gordon, please fill out an application on our website --(uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Cathy at 801-598-0771 or email cv-sandy@hotmail.com.

Story
Meet Pippin, a four-year-old Chihuahua with movie-star looks and a heart full of love. Pippin is searching for his forever family (or perhaps a manager for his budding modeling career). With his striking good looks and soulful eyes, he has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the room. This handsome little guy found himself in a shelter through no fault of his own, but thanks to UAAF, he’s now thriving in a foster home and ready to find his perfect match. Pippin uses a dog door and is doing great with house manners. Like many young boys, he may mark, so a belly band is recommended until that phase passes. Pippin loves to play and would be thrilled to have a playful canine friend in his forever home. He enjoys kids who understand that small dogs aren’t toys and appreciates gentle, respectful interactions. He hasn’t met cats yet, so his feelings about them are unknown. When playtime is over, Pippin is all about cuddles. He adores being close to his people and is more than happy to let you brush and admire his beautiful coat. Pippin is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. If you’re ready to spoil each other with love and companionship, fill out an application and see if Pippin is your perfect match. Pippin has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Pippin, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
