Meet Boeing! He is currently 2.6 pounds, only 8 weeks old, and we think he may be a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place.

Boeing is confident and charismatic – he is slightly shorter than his brother Tacoma, but stature has nothing to do with this boy’s big personality! He is always the first to investigate and explore his surroundings without fear. Boeing loves to play and has the best puppy prance and bounce that is sure to make you chuckle. Be sure to cut your lawn so this little bunny rabbit can romp and frolic in your (fenced) yard – it’s can be a tall jungle for this pint-sized perky boy!
Boeing is definitely food-motivated and loves treats and toys of all kinds. He gets fed separately from his brother Tacoma, who often tries to eat Boeing’s food as well – we love that puppy appetite! While Boeing clearly has some growing to do, we don’t think this tiny boy will get much larger. He’s small enough to stash in a baby sling while you work or do chores around the house. (We’ve done it and he loves the closeness!)
This affectionate puppy loves people and loves to be carried and held close. His favourite thing to do (after eating) is to give tiny kisses and gentle puppy nibbles while playing and engaging with you. He has met several teenagers and they all fall in love with him, one by one, even the toughest teenage boy. Do you think you have the strength to resist a 2.5 lb chihuahua? We can assure you that you do not – one look at Boeing’s sweet puppy prance and bounce will have you fawning over this charismatic cutie.
Boeing is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.
You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
