Meet Jackie 👑
Jackie is the total package! This beautiful young mama is smart, affectionate, eager to learn, and absolutely loves her people. She is a wonderful combination of playful energy and sweet cuddles, and she's always ready to hand out kisses.
Jackie is also impressively well potty trained and reliably lets her foster family know when she needs to go outside. She has learned quite a bit during her time in foster, including leash walking, “sit,” “drop it,” “wait,” and “leave it.” She's a quick learner who takes to new training readily. She's still working on remembering that an open door doesn't automatically mean it's time to bolt through it, but she's making progress!
Jackie is a high-energy young dog who enjoys being active. She loves trips to the yard and would be happiest with a family that can give her plenty of exercise, including a couple of good walks each day. A home with a regular routine and people who enjoy getting out and about with their dog would be a great fit for her.
Jackie would do well with dogs and kids. While she hasn't been able to interact directly with other dogs while raising her puppies, she has shown that she is very interested in them, and we suspect she'd be happy to have a canine companion. Because Jackie spent time as a stray and had to fend for herself, she does have a strong prey drive, so a home without cats would likely be best. She also loves scavenging for snacks outside, so her family will need to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't eat something that could make her sick.
After being such a wonderful mama to her puppies, Jackie is ready for the next chapter of her life. She's looking for a family who will keep her active, continue her training, and give her all the love and attention this sweet girl deserves!
Jackie is currently accepting adoption hold deposits while we finalize her medical.
