At around 3 years old, this sweet dachshund mix has a calm, low-energy personality and loves nothing more than being petted and spending time with his people. He is perfectly content relaxing in the shade, hanging out on the couch, or simply following you from room to room. Shorty gets along wonderfully with other dogs and with cats, including kittens. While he enjoys the company of other animals, he doesn't depend on them and would be just as happy as your one and only pet. He is well past the puppy chaos and has the easygoing personality of a dog who just wants to be loved and included. If you're looking for a loyal companion who won't demand much beyond some affection and a comfortable place to nap, Shorty may be exactly who you've been waiting for. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who gets along well with other pets but doesn't need a busy household to be happy. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys gentle kids. Harmonee is house broken and crate trained as well. She loves exploring the yard and basking in the sun.
