Story
Meet Duckie, an adorable little guy weighing 8 lbs but possessing a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger ‘tude!! At around two years old, Duckie is full of energy and loves to play. He enjoys entertaining himself with toys and zooming around. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and is fantastic with children. The Duckster is quite the Velcro dog. When he’s not busy running around causing mischief, squeaking, or growling at his toys, he loves to snuggle right on top of you, showering you with kisses. He is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being held and carried around. Duckie embodies the typical chihuahua traits, being a bit yappy and overly protective of his family when it comes to strangers. Currently, he wears a belly band to assist with his marking. Having just been neutered, this, along with the belly band, should help him learn to do his business outside. Duckie and Fievel are a bonded pair and should be adopted together — or, if adopted separately, each will need to have a canine sibling in their new home. Duckie has a medical condition that is currently well managed with daily medication and routine veterinary care. While he has experienced occasional seizure-like episodes, he has not been formally diagnosed with epilepsy. He thrives with a consistent routine and a loving caregiver who is comfortable giving medication and providing a calm, supportive environment. With the right home, Duckie can continue to enjoy a happy, playful and love-filled life.  So, if you’re in search of a companion who will entertain you, cuddle with you, and protect you from any scary monsters and things that go bump in the night, Duckie is the perfect match! Story
Meet Riggs! Riggs is a little bundle of energy and affection who is always ready for his next adventure—or a cozy cuddle session afterward. He loves going for walks and especially enjoys time at the park where he can run, play, and burn off some of his enthusiasm. Riggs gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. When Riggs came into the care of Valley Dogs, he was suffering from a hip injury that required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). His veterinarian believes the injury was caused by some type of trauma, such as a fall, jump, or impact to the hip area that resulted in a fracture. Despite his injury, Riggs never let it slow him down. Even before surgery, he happily kept up with his four-legged companions. After surgery, he is simply continuing to enjoy life to the fullest. Riggs would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard, especially since he weighs less than 12 pounds. He would love a family that includes him in walks, outings, and everyday activities. While he has not been exposed to children in his foster home, he is expected to do well with respectful kids once he knows he is safe, loved, and part of the family. He would also enjoy having one or more canine companions to play with and help keep him entertained. If you're looking for a fun-loving, resilient, and affectionate little dog to join your family, Riggs may be the perfect match. Story
Chiquito is an adorable long-haired Chihuahua with a big personality packed into a tiny body! This happy little guy is full of energy and loves going for walks, riding in the car, and happily crunching on his favorite snack—carrots. He's affectionate, a little clingy in the sweetest way, and has the cutest habit of hopping up to get your attention when he wants some love. Chiquito does well with children and adults and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little shadow. While he gets along well with female dogs, he can be a bit unsure around male dogs and would do best with proper introductions. If you're looking for a fun, devoted pup who will brighten every day, Chiquito is ready to hop right into your heart! ******Please get in touch with bicklekt@gmail.com for an adoption application.
