Meet Riggs! Riggs is a little bundle of energy and affection who is always ready for his next adventure—or a cozy cuddle session afterward. He loves going for walks and especially enjoys time at the park where he can run, play, and burn off some of his enthusiasm. Riggs gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. When Riggs came into the care of Valley Dogs, he was suffering from a hip injury that required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). His veterinarian believes the injury was caused by some type of trauma, such as a fall, jump, or impact to the hip area that resulted in a fracture. Despite his injury, Riggs never let it slow him down. Even before surgery, he happily kept up with his four-legged companions. After surgery, he is simply continuing to enjoy life to the fullest. Riggs would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard, especially since he weighs less than 12 pounds. He would love a family that includes him in walks, outings, and everyday activities. While he has not been exposed to children in his foster home, he is expected to do well with respectful kids once he knows he is safe, loved, and part of the family. He would also enjoy having one or more canine companions to play with and help keep him entertained. If you're looking for a fun-loving, resilient, and affectionate little dog to join your family, Riggs may be the perfect match. Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Come meet me—I have a feeling we’re meant to be! Please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to schedule a meet & greet.

☕🐾 Adopt Latte — Your Little Sidekick With the Cutest Underbite 🐾☕ If you’re looking for a puppy who brings equal parts sweetness, silliness, and snuggles, Latte is ready to move right in. 💛🐶 Latte is an adorable Dachshund mix (born 7/28/25) with a heart full of love and a personality that wins people over instantly. His most charming feature? A tiny underbite that makes his sweet face even more irresistible. 🥹✨ This happy little guy loves people and thrives on being part of the family. He’s the kind of pup who wants to run around with his toys one minute and curl up beside you the next. 🧸🐾 Here’s why Latte makes such a wonderful companion: 🐕 Great with dogs of all sizes 🐱 Cat-friendly 👧 Fantastic with kids — he absolutely adores spending time with his foster’s 5-year-old 👨 Friendly with men 🚪 Doggy-door trained 🛏️ Sleeps nicely in his crate at night He’s still working on leash skills and learning commands, but he’s eager to please and excited to learn. With a little guidance and consistency, he’ll pick things up quickly. 🎓🐾 Latte’s favorite things include running around the yard, chewing on toys, spending time with his people, and cozy cuddle sessions. In fact, he’s even helped his foster’s child fall asleep at night — he’s that gentle and comforting. 💛 He would do well in many types of homes, including apartments once his leash training is complete. His dream home simply includes loving people, plenty of toys to chew, and lots of time together. Story
Lino followed my son home one day from a gas station. The owners of the gas station said that Lino was dropped off by his owners and didn't have a home. We brought him home and he was very shy. But he has finally emerged. We love the little guy but we have two already small dogs and a grandbaby coming soon. Too many little dogs running through the house. We haven't had the chance to get him to the vet. He looks pretty young. He will go outside to do his business but because he is not neutered yet, he will try to mark his territory. He loves cuddles. Very lovable dog. Will wrap around your neck and give hugs. He loves music, lounging, and playing with the others.

Story
Akamaru was born and raised in Arizona. He is a sweet little dog with a big personality. He loves all people and wants all the pets he can possibly get. He loves giving kisses and just wiggles all the time because he is always happy. Unfortunately, after raising him for 5 years, our new work schedule does not allow us to give them the time and attention he needs and deserves. We are also moving to a home that does not have a yard. They spent most of their life running around outside and need a home they can do the same. Since he spent his time outdoors growing up, he just recently finished potty training. He loves cuddles and to play with other dogs. He is not fixed but only just out of date for his shots. He is a great dog and we just want to find a home where he can have the better life he deserves.

Story
I have owned these two since 5 weeks old. They are both very well trained and good for the home in all aspects. Doggie door trained, crate trained, and very well mannered. I moved to Arizona from California to take care of my ailing 82 year old mother. The dogs really stress her out since she is still traumatized by an incident that happened in her childhood so this extra stress in her condition now is forcing this situation. Blondie is a lover and will try to lick you to death. Petey is a little more timid as he was the last born of the litter. both loving and require little care.

Story
Meet Duckie, an adorable little guy weighing 8 lbs but possessing a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger ‘tude!! At around two years old, Duckie is full of energy and loves to play. He enjoys entertaining himself with toys and zooming around. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and is fantastic with children. The Duckster is quite the Velcro dog. When he’s not busy running around causing mischief, squeaking, or growling at his toys, he loves to snuggle right on top of you, showering you with kisses. He is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being held and carried around. Duckie embodies the typical chihuahua traits, being a bit yappy and overly protective of his family when it comes to strangers. Currently, he wears a belly band to assist with his marking. Having just been neutered, this, along with the belly band, should help him learn to do his business outside. Duckie and Fievel are a bonded pair and should be adopted together — or, if adopted separately, each will need to have a canine sibling in their new home. Duckie has a medical condition that is currently well managed with daily medication and routine veterinary care. While he has experienced occasional seizure-like episodes, he has not been formally diagnosed with epilepsy. He thrives with a consistent routine and a loving caregiver who is comfortable giving medication and providing a calm, supportive environment. With the right home, Duckie can continue to enjoy a happy, playful and love-filled life.  So, if you’re in search of a companion who will entertain you, cuddle with you, and protect you from any scary monsters and things that go bump in the night, Duckie is the perfect match! PLEASE EMAIL BICKLEKT@GMAIL.COM to meet Duckie.

Story
Meet Kali—a lovable, loyal little lady with a big personality! Kali is the perfect blend of curious and cuddly. She’s an explorer at heart and enjoys checking out her surroundings, but she’s no troublemaker—Kali does great at home even when left alone. True to her dachshund roots, she’s got a strong prey drive and loves chasing birds or the occasional feral cat, so she’ll do best in a home without small pets like cats, guinea pigs, or reptiles. Kali lives for park days and adores playing chase with her doggie pals. She’d thrive in a home with a secure backyard (she is part dachshund, after all—digging is in her DNA!) and would love a furry sibling to hang out with while her humans are away. She gets along well with other dogs her size. Kali isn’t shy about expressing herself—if she thinks she’s missing out on the fun, she’ll let you know with a few vocal opinions. :) When the day winds down, Kali transforms into a total cuddlebug. She’ll gently nuzzle in close, letting you know she’s ready for some cozy snuggles and a little extra love. This sweet girl is ready to bring joy, adventure, and a whole lot of love to her forever family. EMAIL ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to meet Kali and see for yourself what a gem she is!

Story
Meet Fievel, an irresistibly charming unique brindle chihuahua mix, who might just have a hint of mouse in him with those oversized ears! This pint-sized pup is bursting with playful energy and thrives in the company of other lively dogs. Rescued from a difficult situation where he was fearful and hesitant to be touched, Feivel has made remarkable progress in his foster home. His foster family allowed him to acclimate at his own pace, and while he initially kept his distance from humans, he soon began to trust. Now, he showers them with affection, offering kisses, cuddles, and enjoying those delightful booty rubs and ear scratches. Although he’s still wary of being picked up, and sometimes quickly ends cuddle sessions if he gets spooked, we believe that with time and love, he will overcome all of his fear. Fievel and Duckie are a bonded pair and should be adopted together — or, if adopted separately, each will need to have a canine sibling in their new home. Fievel is looking for that one-of-a-kind compassionate family with big hearts, plenty of patience, and well-adjusted furry siblings to help him continue his journey. With his adorable puppy antics, ferocious play growls, and a beagle-like bay that’s definitely chihuahua-pitched, he is sure to bring joy and laughter to his lucky family. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the time he needs to adjust, the reward of his trust and love will be immeasurable!!! Please email Bicklekt@gmail.com.
