Story
Rhaea is a 5 year old husky/cattle dog mutt that we adopted as a puppy from the reservation. We have had her and our other older dog since they were puppies but for the past 1-2 years my older dog has been attacking Rhaea unprovoked. We have tried training but the fighting has worsened. We worry for the safety of Rhaea and our toddler. We are heartbroken because we love Rhaea so much. We want to find her a truly loving home. She is such a sweet, quirky and loving dog. She loves going on walks, loves to hold your hand when you pet her and loves potato chips. She is generally good around dogs, there are some she doesn’t like. We used to take her to daycare and she was super social there. Some kids she will bark at but has been good with our toddler and preteens in our neighborhood. She has not been around cats

Rhaea is a 5 year old husky/cattle dog mutt that we adopted as a puppy from the reservation. Hello everyone! My name is Lyla and I just turned 1 in January! I was rescued from MCACC as a pup, so I am spayed and microchipped. My dog DNA puts me as a cattle dog/shepherd/bull terrier/Rottweiler mix! I am very playful and very smart! I live with two dog brothers and a dog sister, however me and my sister are no longer getting along. I am kennel trained and potty trained, but when I first meet you I get nervous and might pee. I know some basic commands and am eager to learn! I love to go for walks and I do well on runs! I am looking for a family that loves dogs! While I do well with my brothers, it is unknown how well I would do with another sister. I need someone who will give me lots of attention and is not afraid to correct my puppy behavior! I am smart, playful, and eager to learn!

Story
Atlas was found on the rez, so his breeds are a bit of a mystery but one thing’s for sure he’s a huge cuddle bug. I was unfortunately gone during his first 5 months after being rescued, so I am unsure if he was fully vaccinated (I was told he was) I got his first round done again when he was neutered just to be safe. I wouldn’t recommend him to a family with multiple dogs as he has attempted to cause fights in the past.

Story
We adopted Murphy from the humane society a year and a half ago. She’s a love bug and will love you quickly. She’s some kind of pittie mutt mix but is smaller. Not lap dog size but a true medium. We’re working on keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting people and dogs but she’s very friendly and sweet. She’s excitable which is why I have checked off she should have an experienced dog owner, but really is a sweetheart. Would love for her to go to a loving and safe home. Sparky is a very smart, energetic, and playful boy that is always up for a walk, hike, or even car rides. He can jump pretty high so definitely needs a fence over 5 feet tall or he will become an escape artist. Even though he is high energy, he is quite the cuddlebug too. Likes to sit on your lap during calm times or just be touching you. Sparky has a protective instinct that manifests as barking when a stranger is at the door but when you let the person in, he makes quick friends.. He is a bit of a rough and tumble type of dog so better for older kids and adults. He has always reminded me of a mini pinscher in temperament and looks.

Lily is the best girl for so many reasons. She’s loyal, so excited to see you when you come home, and is very attached to her family. She is protective, and can be fierce, and makes her wishes known. She has food guarding issues and does not do well with other dogs generally, although we have another dog and she loves him. She will show her teeth sometimes, especially around food.

Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute.
