Story
Honey is approximately 3 years old and such a cutie! We adopted her about a year ago from AZ Small Dog Rescue. She is cuddly, playful, friendly, adorable! She is house-trained and will sit for food. She appears aggressive with other dogs initially but will then calm down and be fine. She has been successful at Doggy Daycare numerous times. She has bitten on a couple of occasions when she felt trapped or cuddled too tightly.

Story
This is King, grown dog who thinks he’s a puppy. A protector, a lover, and a player. He enjoys all things outdoors and indoors. He loves walks and even riding in the car, catching a breeze. He can be high energy at times. But like most dogs, he naps and loves to eat. And of course, as most dogs, he loves as much attention as he can get. King would be perfect fit for one or for a whole family. Although he has interacted with other dogs, he would be best fit alone or possibly one other dog. Hes a good boy and stays out of trouble. I am hoping to find a good home for King. He offers a lot of comfort and love. If you are a dog/ animal lover he might the perfect fit if you have been looking for a new doggo in your life!

Story
Brie had given birth to a litter of puppies when rescued from an Indian Reservation. She is a large dog, typically weighing 80 pounds. Currently, her weight has dropped because her owner has dementia and forgets to feed her. She is a mixed breed and is approximately ten years old. Brie takes long walks twice a day and is very friendly. She likes all sized dogs and is particularly maternal to small dogs. Brie is calm, quiet, well trained, and loves her human family. She is chipped, spayed, has had regular veterinary care, and is up to date on all vaccinations. Brie deserves a loving companion.

Story
Jack loves people. He fetches, he enjoys walks but needs leash training, he will be attached to your hip if you let him. He gets some separation anxiety, our dad didn't leave the house for longer than a few hours at a time and Jack got very used to having him around all the time. He has learned to listen when you tell him not to jump, but he begs for food if you eat near him. He was very enthusiastic about meeting a 6-year-old child, but a little too excitable to be unsupervised with him.He liked our dad's other dog of a similar size, but she was older and he had too much puppy energy for her. He has not been around other smaller dogs, he should not be kept with cats. He'll play tug of war until your arms are tired, he likes it when you let him win so he can do a victory lap around the yard with the toy. He's only about 4 and very teachable, but he's used to a very permissive owner who let him sleep in the bed and jump on him, and he's grieving the loss of his person.

Story
Meet Riggs! Riggs is a little bundle of energy and affection who is always ready for his next adventure—or a cozy cuddle session afterward. He loves going for walks and especially enjoys time at the park where he can run, play, and burn off some of his enthusiasm. Riggs gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. When Riggs came into the care of Valley Dogs, he was suffering from a hip injury that required a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). His veterinarian believes the injury was caused by some type of trauma, such as a fall, jump, or impact to the hip area that resulted in a fracture. Despite his injury, Riggs never let it slow him down. Even before surgery, he happily kept up with his four-legged companions. After surgery, he is simply continuing to enjoy life to the fullest. Riggs would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard, especially since he weighs less than 12 pounds. He would love a family that includes him in walks, outings, and everyday activities. While he has not been exposed to children in his foster home, he is expected to do well with respectful kids once he knows he is safe, loved, and part of the family. He would also enjoy having one or more canine companions to play with and help keep him entertained. If you're looking for a fun-loving, resilient, and affectionate little dog to join your family, Riggs may be the perfect match. Story
Meet Kernel (aka Max), your soon-to-be best buddy! Hi there! My name is Kernel, but my foster mom affectionately calls me Max—and I kind of like it. I might come off a bit shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll find me curled up in your lap, handing out kisses like it’s my full-time job. I get along great with the other pups in my foster home (they're all around 35 lbs. and under), and I’ve even had some fun with the neighbor kids! Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so the jury’s still out. I walk nicely on a leash—though sometimes I get a little excited and try to lead the way. A secure yard where I can zoom and sniff would be ideal, and I’d love a doggy sibling to hang out with while you’re out. Snuggle time is very high on my list of favorite things, so don’t be surprised if I sneak into your arms for a cuddle session. I’m potty trained, and while the doggie door is still a bit of a mystery to me, I’m getting the hang of it with practice! Life’s giving me a fresh start, and I’m ready to soak it all in—especially if it involves adventures, soft blankets, and someone to love. Bonus: my ears are ridiculously cute. Come meet me—I have a feeling we’re meant to be! Please email ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to schedule a meet & greet.
