Dexter is a 4-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund (chi-weenie) mix weighing approximately 26 pounds. He came to us when his owner died and he was being kept in a tiny cage. He is timid but has come a long way. He loves to play tug of war and he is very strong. He gets along with the other dogs but has not been cat or kid-tested. He is friendly and lovable when he gets to know you. His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention. Born on August 23, 2024, these sweet boys complement each other perfectly and are ready to fill a lucky home with double the love, companionship, and tail wags. Valor is the more mellow and easygoing of the two. He takes a little longer to warm up to new people, but once he does, you'll discover a loyal companion who enjoys being close to those he trusts. Copper, on the other hand, is a social butterfly who is highly treat-motivated and always wants to be near his favorite person. He quickly makes friends with new people and loves being involved in whatever his family is doing. Both boys are house-trained and get along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, making them an excellent fit for many types of families. Their bond is truly special, and they bring out the best in each other. Rescued from the forest area, this little girl is lucky to be alive! She is timid and sweet. The good Samaritans that found her had to trap her because she was so afraid. She is doing well with love and kindness and we are working on finding her a forever family. She is young.  With adult teeth but possibly still under a year.  Bailey will need a fenced in property as she is a flight risk.  She will need a SECURED fenced in property.  She is shy at first and scared to trust.  Once you earn her trust she is a silly girl.  She ADORES cats and loves to play with both dogs and cats.  She is a happy little girl but it is evident that she has not lived a happy life before coming to us.  Every new noise, anything new that you introduce her to scares her.  She will need an understanding home. ##2345741##
