Story
Willow is a sweet, energetic girl with a heart full of love. She was adopted from Pet Alliance after being rescued from the Bahamas. She loves to play and has a happy, playful spirit that makes her a wonderful companion for an active home. Willow gets along well with other dogs and is also friendly with cats though she can sometimes get a little too excited to play, so a confident or dog-savvy cat would be ideal. Willow is affectionate, loving, and eager to be part of a family. She thrives on companionship, playtime, and positive attention, and would do best with someone who can match her energy and give her the love she deserves.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Rocket is one of the happiest little chihuahuas you will ever meet. This cute 4-year-old little guy came to Lil Rascals weighing only 4 lbs., but he has now doubled his weight to more than 8 lbs. and gained tons of confidence. Rocket is super smart, and just the most cuddliest boy ever. He loves to snuggle up against you, nuzzling into your neck. He currently lives with several other fur siblings - dogs and a cat - and does great with all of them. He prefers to hang out with his fur friends and follows them during back yard explorations. But sometimes he hangs out with one of his foster sisters, who we think has a little bit of a crush on him. Rocket is house trained, and he quietly stands by the back door to indicate when he needs to go out. He has adjusted to wearing a harness, and is still a little leery of walking on a leash, but with practice he should do well. Rocket came to our rescue with limited vision, so he had a visit with our eye specialist and it was determined that he has Progressive Retinal Atrophy, in which the retina slowly deteriorates and he eventually becomes blind. His retina is much thinner than it should be and the blood vessels are tiny. This is a hereditary condition, but is not painful. Despite his condition, he is just the happiest little boy. He is extremely smart; he “sees” with his ears and nose, and quickly maps out his domain after which he has no issues navigating. He follows his fur siblings outside and he is comfortable running outside during daytime when the bright light allows him to see shadows better - just take a look at his video. He should be fed separately to keep others from eating his food. Rocket will do best an uncluttered environment, with a laid-back companion dog that will help him build his self-confidence in his new surroundings. He will come with his favorite bed and blanket.  We are requiring an adult-only home for him, someone who is home more often than not, and a fenced yard where he can walk and run around freely. This sweetheart of a dog has so much love to give. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Rocket, please complete an app and tell us more about your family.   January 10, 2026, 12:04 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Sidney a young and very handsome boy. He is an approx. 3yo, 8lb. long-hair chihuahua mix with shiny brown and black fur. When he first meets you, he is very shy and scared, running away and hiding for safety. But after some time, he now feels safe with his foster mom and fur siblings, where he realizes love, warmth and contentment. He is now even doing zoomies! He gets along so well and loves each of his foster siblings, all small dogs like him, and they play, wrestle and chase each other in the yard. Cuddling is his favorite past time. Although it took some time, he has learned how to trust, and his personality is really coming out. He is house trained as long as he is taken out on a regular basis. He may still make the occasional mistake though. He hasn't learned to walk on leash yet, and that is a work in progress, so for that reason he does need a fenced yard. He is not a big barker and rides well in a car. He is not a big player with toys, but does enjoy chew bones. He loves to sleep cuddled up right next to his foster mom where it’s warm and cozy. He insists on getting lots of kisses before going to bed, then he sleeps quietly all through the night. He would love to find a home with other dogs, cuddling with them and making him feel safe. Sidney has bonded in his foster home with Clint, so we are requiring they be adopted together. Sidney will need someone who can give him time and patience, and not pressure him until he is ready. Once he has that time to settle in and feel as if he can trust you, he will be your best friend, and you will find out what a good boy he is. Due to his skittish-at-first nature, we are preferring an all adult home for him. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Sidney, complete an app and tell us more about your family.
