Story
I love this dog when I left an abusive husband and moved out. He kept my dog that’s why some of my information is unknown. I recently was able to get him back, but my new husband is going blind and he has tripped over Snoopy several times I’m concerned for my husband‘s safety, but I do not like keeping snoopy in a cage nor does he like it. He’s a wonderful dog he does great on car rides. He’s super loving. He’s a really good boy, but I can’t risk my husband falling down the stairs, especially when no one’s home.

Story
Honey is currently being fostered in Arlington VA Honey is only 6 years old and weighs about 13 pounds, but she’s already spent much of her life giving without getting much in return. Now she’s ready for a calm, patient home where she can finally feel safe and loved. Honey is sweet, gentle, and quietly affectionate, learning to trust people more each day. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being near her humans, often settling into a cozy spot close by. She can be cautious with handling at first, so she’ll need someone patient who will let her come around at her own pace. She is pee pad trained and does well with a consistent routine. She would do best in a quiet home and needs another dog in the household to help her feel secure and continue building confidence. A fenced yard is important, as she can be a flight risk outdoors. Honey is still discovering what it means to be truly cared for, but she’s already showing how loving and loyal she can be. With time, patience, and a gentle environment, she’ll form a deep, special bond with her person.

Story
Hello! My name is Billie! Fostered in King William, VA. Meet Billie: A Work in Progress Looking for a Patient Champion Billie is a 1 year old, 15 pound work in progress, and she's worth every bit of patience it takes to help her blossom! This girl has come so far already and is ready to continue her journey with the right person who will take their time and believe in her. The Billie You'll Love When Billie is comfortable, she's wonderful and very affectionate. She'll let you pet her, jump up into bed ready to snuggle, and show you just how sweet and loving she can be. She's house trained and quickly picked up learning how to use a doggy door, proving she's smart and capable when given the chance. What Billie Needs Billie tends to be nervous and will bark when anyone comes in the house. She has to get comfortable with someone new slowly. She would do best in a calm home without young children who may seem unpredictable to her. She needs an adult who will take their time, be patient with her. Good News Billie will go in a crate on her own, showing she's learning to trust routines and safe spaces. She gets along well with other dogs, which could be a wonderful support system for her as she continues to gain confidence. Best Home Fit Billie needs a calm, patient adult home without children. Someone experienced with unsure dogs who understands that progress takes time and celebrates every small victory. With the right person, Billie will continue to grow into the affectionate, wonderful companion she's already showing she can be. If you're ready to be Billie's patient champion and help her write the next chapter of her story, she's waiting to meet you! Apply today!
