smokey was in Irvine pound & they were going to kill him because they said he was aggressive He was not. He was scared and protective while being incarcerated. The pound scared him by poling him. He was afraid of them all. His owner went to see him and he was a sweet boy. which surprised them. He was being reactive to other dogs on walks, aggressive however he has been in boot camp for a month and that issue has been worked with. He wants to be good boy and he is. ❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story : he was rescued along with his four siblings from a local high-risk shelter in 2024. • Personality : energetic, friendly, and clever! • Affinity with - Dogs: very dog-friend regardless of size. - Cats: not tested - Adults/Kids: he likes everyone • Shedding level(1-10): 1-2 as a puppy currently - will be 5-7 when fully grown • Walking Manners: his third vaccine was just done, so it hasn't been long since he started walking outside. He likes to chew the leash while walking in a playful way for now. He will need time to get used to walking comfortably on a leash. • Appetite/Food Allergies: eats all good. no allergies. • Housetrained: currently using pee-pads in the house. He will need time to be house-trained in a new place. • Separation Anxiety: none • Barks/Howls: occasionally barks when playing with other pups • Likes: loves playing with toys and eating food • Health: currently having treatment on his tail due to skin condition

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. Buddy was found alone on Jeju Island, South Korea, when he was just about one month old. He was discovered crying in a tangerine field, with no mother or littermates in sight. After being rescued, he was taken to a high-kill city shelter, where our organization stepped in to save him and place him in foster care. Since then, Buddy has been living in a loving foster home. Despite his incredibly sweet nature and excellent temperament, he has not yet received a single adoption inquiry. We truly believe this is only a matter of timing, because Buddy is an exceptional puppy. His foster parents describe him as “flawless”: he is smart, healthy, highly social, and friendly with both people and other dogs. He is almost finished teething and now has his permanent teeth coming in, and once his puppy coat finishes shedding, he is expected to grow into a very handsome dog. Buddy would do best in a home with another dog, as he enjoys canine companionship and gains confidence from it. Based on observation, he is not expected to do well in a home with cats. If you are looking for a loving, well-adjusted young dog and already have a canine companion, Buddy could be a wonderful match. If you are interested in learning more about him, please don’t hesitate to submit an application. The family who adopts Buddy will be incredibly lucky to have him. 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: - International transportation - Customs and export documentation - Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee.
