Meet Coco! Coco was surrendered to the shelter on 8/19 because her family travels frequently and could no longer give her the time and care she deserves. Her former family shared that she is house-trained, good with children, and dog-friendly. Volunteers describe Coco as a true beauty with a gorgeous coat and an equally beautiful personality! She's friendly, playful, and a dream to walk on leash. She even sits when asked—what a good girl! Coco is ready to find a loving family who will adore her as much as we do. Coco is approximately 6 years old and weighs 67 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Coco did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. Coco is waiting patiently in kennel 831; her ID # is 21893. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Roddy is the type of dog who wants to be close to his person and will happily become your little shadow. ❤️ Roddy does have separation anxiety, so he needs a patient and understanding adopter. He becomes very attached, doesn’t enjoy being crated or left alone, and may howl when separated. He would do best with someone who is home often and willing to patiently help him become more comfortable and secure. Roddy needs companionship, consistency, exercise, reassurance, and lots of affection. Lemon loaf is one of a kind! She has the head & legs of a chihuahua and the body of a husky/lab. She is the most precious low rider. She does have hypothyroidism and will be on medication for the rest of her life, but it's not expensive. She will be loosing weight as her hormones adjust to the meds. She lives in a foster home with 4 other dogs and 5 kids. She enjoys being by her foster moms side and doing her own thing. Blackberry and Lemonloaf came from a terrible neglect situation. They were abandoned in a condemned home for weeks. She is very sweet, dog friendly, kid friendly.
