Hey there, I'm Mochi! I'm a very goofy girlie that loves nothing more than lounging with my people while they work, enjoying some light playtime with my foster siblings, and sitting outside to quietly watch the trees for birds and squirrels. I may look big in photos, but I'm actually a pretty petite and highly manageable chow chow mix! I was born with chronic hip dysplasia and will have had both recommended surgeries come early November and I'll feel so much better! Fret not, for I do not let my hips slow me down a single bit!! Don't believe me? Go grab my leash because I. LOVE. WALKIES! I get the biggest, silliest grin when it's time to strut my stuff! I have great leash manners, am not reactive, and walk at a nice pace - a sniff here, a potty there, and nearly always a slack leash right at your side. I'm very friendly and submissive with other dogs (and likely cats as well), am perfectly potty trained, will sleep in my own bed next to yours, and am your dream coworker at the home office. All that in this adorable little package and tied up neatly with a big fluffy bow! What's that? You're looking for a pupper that's fiercly loyal, always ready for adventure, and a very silly goose? Hi, I’m Rowan! As you can see, I’m a big, fluffy boy who weighs 75 lbs. I am approximately 3 years old and, unfortunately, I am just now learning how to socialize with other dogs and people. I like other dogs, but I am sometimes socially awkward (you might think of me as an oversized puppy), so my doggy friends need to be tolerant and patient. However, I do LOVE to play! Tug-of-war and chasing squirrels are two of my favorite things. I am food motivated, which will be a good tool for my training. I would do well under the patient care of a Chow-savvy family who understands my independent nature and is willing to give me the time, training, and space to learn how to trust and be a good fur-sibling. Because of my size and lack of socialization, I do not do well with kids of any age. My ideal home must have a fenced yard. I’m also not a big fan of leashes, but I am slowly improving.
